@@UsmanMalik-sw6wy I'll be honest, that is a very small amount of proposals. I searched for jobs and submitted tons of proposals when I first started. It actually took me around 4 months to win my first job.
I’m a healthcare business analyst and entrepreneur who started on Upwork on April 9 and landed a $1000 project on April 14, writing pharmacy licensure exam test questions. I also got an offer a day prior but after discussing it briefly with the prospective client I changed my mind about it. I have a meeting this afternoon with a prospective client also. So in just a few days I was able to somewhat get the hang of Upwork by studying your videos. Thank you immensely. I really had no expectations. I just earned a rising star badge as of today. I look forward to improving and tracking my progress but I wanted to thank you because you’re the reason I even signed up for the platform at all. I still have tons of work to do on my portfolio and I have to get the introduction video done. All of which I’m studying your videos to complete. 🤞🏾🙏🏾

Appreciate the great effort you are putting in the videos ♥️ you mentioned that one of the three questions you ask before deciding to learn something is "is it gonna be in demand for the next 10 years" I then saw a video made by Cold fusion covering this and I became anxious I know that chat GPT 4 won't be able to replace anyone anytime soon but on the long term it's alarming so if I'm starting to learn something that is not gonna be effected by AI what would be your advice ? + a video covering this topic would be great including all the scientific studies that were done one this topic ♥️

Please create a video on "Indeed proven talent solutions Upwork". When I scroll through other freelancer profiles I say a lot of freelancers are associated with a different company, my question is how the associate with the companies also creates a video on it.

Boosted proposals? I'm fine with it for visibility if the bid isn't too high. If the bid gets really high, then you're better off using those connects to submit more proposals.

I've been there and know exactly what you mean. Try to remember that one client can change your life. Just one client can lead to long term repeat work. It took me around 4 months to get my first job.

I need your help
I am doing my 3rd job on Upwork but this time the client has made a milestone of 1/10 of total amount and when I submitted 1/10 work he became furious and asked me to submit 100% work I did 100% work in fear of not getting a negative review and now he is not responding to my messages This way they are scaring me. How to handle this. I don't want to agree to terms of clients in fear of negative review 😢

I'm confused by your statement. Did the client create a milestone for less money than you agreed on?
@@JoshBurnsTech My work has 10 parts and we agreed for 1st part and he made the milestone for 1/10 the amount but after submitting 1/10th work he said give me whole work and I submitted the whole work in fear of not getting negative review
@@aman3665 So, he's not going to pay you for doing all of the work? Sounds like the best thing you can do is complete the job successfully and go above and beyond to earn a 5-star review from him. Here's what I would do: After everything is completed successfully, ask to close the project and mention the importance that reviews have on your profile and finding other clients. If you finish his job successfully, maintain a positive attitude, and go above and beyond to earn a 5-star review then after the job is complete you can move on. Sometimes the best lessons come from difficult situations.

@@aman3665 Always do an introduction call before you accept a job and make sure you're both on the same page regarding deliverables. Hourly projects also make it easier to avoid getting "extra work" without pay.
