    I can tell you, I beat the hell outta my GW-9400-3 and have never had a fog issue. I’d bet it’s due to being disassembled rather than actual watch quality.

      I bought it already in used condition. Perhaps the previous owner had improperly did that. Thanks for sharing your experience!

      That happens when you buy used. The previous owner messed up the watch by taking it apart. It will never fog like that if not taken apart.

      Yeh same I’ve had mine for years now and it’s been through serious use (believe me the military will test the shit out of a watch) and I’ve never had a fog issue.

      gshock highfashion is the fogging issue present on all digital model including the non solar one? Am actually thinking of trying the G 6900, but the fogging issue bothered me a little bit.

      As long as you didn't opened it up like what he did in previous video , all will be just fine , a friend of mine also got this issue after opened it up for customization , but mine after years of beating intentionally & unintentionally still going tough 💪 though 😎

    I got the one you're showing on 1:15, the swamp green with inverted display. Great model, rich functionality! The only small downside of it for me is that on countdown timer seconds aren't adjustable and no autorepeat. If not for that, this model would have been enough for me.

    I wonder how much of the fog issue is because you have disassembled the watch? Mine has never shown any signs of this and I live and work on Queensland Australia, so boating , swimming and generally working in high humidity and heat most of the year.
    Just a thought mate.
    As usual your content is top notch! thank you.

    • @gshockhighfashion

      I disassembled the watch to try and clean it before proceed to make this video so that I don’t have to show/mention it but I can’t clean it because the risky processes. It didn’t happen to everyone but surely had happen for me. Thats good though, I knew how to fix it already in the future. 😎 Cheers!

    • @stonefingaz
      @stonefingaz Před 5 lety +1

      I agree with Reg ! I have had my Rangeman in humid and all kinds of activities which include water and I dont have the slightest fog issue with my copy. I really enjoy your videos and I have been watching your content for over a year, but this comment of the fog issue really was weird on the Rangeman. For example I didn’t know that you disassembled this watch cuz I missed that video. I think Reg is right the fogging issue on your copy is because you disassembled it. You should point these facts out before saying something like that of a Master of G, or any watch for that matter. No issues, just pointing some stuff out. Love from Transilvania !

  • @3000spills
    @3000spills Před 4 lety +3

    The moisture comes from the disassembly of the watch...Gshocks don't fog up unless you take them apart and don't seal them back correctly.

    What is the work of triple sensor

  • @michaelkaliski7651
    @michaelkaliski7651 Před rokem +1

    The only way to get fog in the watch is to disassemble it and reassemble it in a hot, high humidity environment. That is to say the water or water vapour needs to be sealed inside the watch in the first place. Casio watches with 200 metres of water resistance will actually withstand 600 metres before failing. The failure mode is they rear metal plate collapsing under the pressure, so nothing to do with the crystal or seals.

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před rokem

      I suspect this might be the case, I did bought this specific model in used condition.

  • @KISH351
    @KISH351 Před 4 lety

    Not all Rangemans are like this. Mine doesn't do this. I beat mine up, but I clean it when I do get it dirty. Mine still looks New to me.

  • @fredmanning7697

    If you're just trying to clear moisture, what about pulling a screw and sealing it up with some rice or desicant gel?

    • @gshockhighfashion

      It will rust the interior over time if there are too much of them.

  • @waelabdalshafy79

    Hiii bro...i have the same great watch..but why the altimeter keep changing its reading in the same location

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 5 lety +1

      Because it is calculated by using the atmospheric pressure data which consistently change every hour.
      The new GPS Rangeman however, will use GPS coordinate for altimeter reading, thus more accurate.

    • @svenberglund2293
      @svenberglund2293 Před 3 lety

      Using a barometric alitmeter is like this:
      1) Calibrate it by getting an accurate surface level air pressure reading e.g. from your nearest airport.
      2) Read it on your current altitude.
      This is how it is used in airplanes, it is generally not very usable standalone, independently of external informaion.

    Aren't Casio G-Shock watches designed to keep out water? Why would it have water vapor? I'm considering getting a Rangeman but won't do it if it gets water inside.

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 5 lety +1

      If the O-Ring starts to wear out, water could still get inside. This is an example of heavy use under hot weather and consistently exposed to sweat for years. For normal use, it is very reliable. Especially if you swap the O-Ring once after few years.

    • @gshockhighfashion

    2:30 -- Fog on the screen??? Really?? WOW....Hey, maybe it's because you pulled the watch apart piece by piece (you told us at the beginning of the video), which btw, you should not do WITHOUT having it professionally pressure tested... I've had about four Rangeman, took them out swimming and surfing, and not one of them fogged up on me. At least it's a lesson that you made which viewers will learn from.

    • @gshockhighfashion

      I pulled it apart BECAUSE it already fogged up the day I got it. Not the other way around. Get it right man.
