You never disappoint !
If they can fix FG where it actually feels smoother, then no need for these other fixes. Also, VRAm usage needs to be reduced by at least 500mb-1gb
Nice comparison and commentary. Good job!
Thanks!
Reflex fixed means FSR3 FG mod might work now. Will try at night and see.
Edit: Tried it, it´s still ass. Play without FG RTX 3000, 2000 users.
Did it
Works for me on 3080 mobile with reflex set to "on"
Yea fg still sucks so bad on rtx 2050
You need to turn off fg in the settings and use dlss, if you have the glitch interface that means that it work.
It already worked on older version, on my 1050ti I'm getting 55-60FPS with FG when using FG+DLSS on Very Low, I get 40 FPS with FG+FSR, I thought that DLSS+FG wouldnt work on my 1050ti but its works since its older gen GPU but it works.
thank you so much for these vids!
My pleasure!
Great timing/speed
Can you please take another look on the lords of the fallen now that version 1.5 has relased we want to know if the performance improved compare to the early updates.
Like your videos comparing each graphic setting. You do good work. However it's hard to judge performance differences between each patch. When your cpu is bottlenecking the gpu. Unless that bottleneck is less with a new patch you won't see improvements where others would with no bottleneck.
It's also a extremely bad idea to use nvidia reflex especially + boost when you have cpu bottleneck. It's intended purpose is basically to sync cpu and gpu frames. It cannot do this when your CPU is behind which could cause stutter or huge input lag spike.
on RTSS 7.3.6 you can show nvidia reflex latency meter on screen.
Thanks for update
No problem!
It's been a while and fps lagging is still there, though xess ultra quality plus and native xess AA is nice addons
I assume they are not gonna bother with the avx not supported on older CPU's
Good job
Appreciate it!
I have noticed a middle improvement with the last patch .i have a sapphire radeon RX590 nitro 😂😂
They should fix some pop-ins especially in burning shores
curious to see if the game will keep lagging during cutscenes
yea ive been wondering too, but there is a usable fix rn. You just have to restart the game and i think you would be good after that
@@aminamin1119 ah yes, still the only fix, i was hoping for a less manual solution hahaha
Lol no cutscenes are still lagging
It's still there sadly, the only solution i found is to use lower quality textures to avoid vram spillover, once that happen the game failed to clear the buffer and you get fps drop for the rest of your play until you restart the game.
lagging during cutscenes ? lol
what software are using for stats?
MSI Afterburner + RiveTuner Statistics Server, with a custom overlay.
bro plz test Avatar FOP latest patch
looks the shadows better in 1.3.55 ?..i think so.....
the patch before was making my PC crush every 5 minutes..
Not sure how about Patch tho..
I’m running this game on launch patch on 4070 super and I’m getting 120fps without dlss on. 😊
Personally, what I notice with my RTX3070TI (8GB VRAM here) is that the high textures are still not “optimal” for playing in 1440p with 8GB VRAM.
I did a stress test in and around Scoroc and felt a frame drop after a few minutes when moving from the bar to the outside of the village (combat zone) and then back into the village.
Medium textures are always recommended for 8GB VRAM in 1440p, I think...
Disable ReBar.
Using a 3060 Ti, with medium textures at 1440p, after an hour of gameplay, the FPS start to drop in cut-scenes, and the frame time becomes unstable. This happens even with high textures at 1080p using DLSS, or at 1440p with medium or high textures with DLSS, ReBar turned off. The game has terrible VRAM management for 8GB GPUs!
Same
Still happen even at 1080p, play around abit then major cutscenes and fps drop to low 20s-30s, small cutscenes sometime won't cause fps drop though probably still has enough room in that 8gb buffer.
@@lisboas_lucas Same here. And not only on 8GB GPUs. 12GB ones are also suffering at 4K + Ultra textures. The game engine currently manages memory pretty poorly indeed, as it uses a lot of VRAM and just a bit of RAM. Looks like it slowly fills VRAM with time and after some time, when VRAM buffer is filled by ~85%, that is when the problem appears - GPU performance decreases by quite a bit. I think even 16GB cards can struggle, if you play long enough, like 3-4 hours. And it looks like cuscenes speed-up VRAM filling, so the more cutscenes you watch and the longer they are, the faster this issue appears. VRAM usage just increase with time, so there is an issues with either memory management or textu4e streaming.
Not too bad this time 🙂
Definitely an improvement overall, let's hope they keep coming!
Is high now playable and smooth for 8gb vram now?
From what other players have said, it's still not playable right now.
Honnestly with a 3060ti I play it at 1440 p in medium-high ith qlss quality and i get between 50-80 fps, il only drop below 30 in some cutscenes
@@bhkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Does it drops in plainsong? Blight and water is really demanding in there when it comes to fps.
resize bar on?
disable it via nvidiaProfileInspector
Anybody else experience random crashes?
You tested wrong. The main game ist ok but go to burning shores dlc performance is terrible
yeah the dlc runs pretty bad
What about cutscenes?
It's still terrible for me, especially in the Burning Shores DLC
@@lisboas_lucas Burning shores is really, really bad. I'll wait to play it and i'm on a 4070ti.. doesn't help at all :(
@@WhiteCranKWhat resolution/settings are you using?
@@stangamer1151 Everything maxed out except Bloom. Playing in 4k, DLSS Quality. On the main map i have 90-110 fps, Burning Shores they drop to 30-40ish, even when they hit 60, it's very stuttery.
@@WhiteCranK Thank you for the reply. So this new patch has not improved performance for you at all? Is ReBar enabled in your case?
new patch bug=auto pause
Frame gen and reflex still causing horrible stutter. Does anyone have a fix?
It's unplayable right now, maybe wait for the official FSR 3.1 implementation.
@@ZykopathOfficial But i'm with a Nvidia card. I don't get it man, when the game released, it was buttery smooth. Now it seems, with every update it gets worse :(
I use GTX 1650 new patches did nothing to it 😂😂😂😂
Hate to tell you,but 1650 is not good enough for this game.
@@EyefyourGf I figured it out long time ago you don't need to tell me 😭😭
@@radysg4346 rtx 3050 laptop here.. I want 40 fps stable, are u getting 30-40 stable
@@gtx-cyno2943 getting stable 30 fps but I definitely can tell that my laptop i5 10th gen CPU are hot running the game. I can hear the fan it's super loud
