  • The new Xforce, a small SUV powered by internal combustion engine (ICE) and manufactured in Indonesia, was unveiled by Mitsubishi. Although it has a few less bells and whistles, the production vehicle is stylistically similar to the 2022 Mitsubishi XFC Concept. Its primary market is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), although Mitsubishi also intends to sell the model in South Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
The official preview event for the Mitsubishi Xforce took place on July 31st, so we were already familiar with its exterior appearance. Now, in addition to precise specs, we get to glimpse the interior. The aggressive LED lighting units on either end, the sculpted bodywork, and the design of the grille give the SUV a contemporary and muscular appearance. With a wheelbase of 2,650 mm (104.3 inches), the Mitsubishi Xforce had dimensions of 4,390 mm (172.8 inches) in length, 1,810 mm (71.3 inches) in width, and 1,660 mm (65.4 inches) in height. The previous generation ASX/RVR and the EU-spec ASX, which is sourced from Renault, have a similar footprint.
On the dashboard, you'll find both an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The underlying "mélange" fabric upholstery is supposedly stain-resistant. Among its many appealing features is the eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system.
Mitsubishi boasts that their five-seater cabin is one of the most roomy and functional in its class, thanks to features like a customizable trunk, reclining rear seats, a cooler box, and plenty of storage space. Additionally, there are USB outlets and smartphone holders in the front and rear of the cabin, as well as a wireless charging pad.Similar to the Mitsubishi Xpander, the 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine is located under the hood and produces 103 horsepower (77 kW / 105 PS) and 141 Newton-meters (104 lb-ft) of torque. The front axle receives all of the power from the continuously variable transmission (CVT).The vehicle is capable of handling flooded roads and rugged and slippery conditions because to its four-wheel drive system, Active Yaw Control (AYC), and "class-leading" ground clearance of 222 mm (8.7 inches). Also, the ASEAN region's roads aren't exactly newly paved, therefore the suspension has been fine-tuned for comfort on such conditions.
