I work in manufacturing as a product manager, and personally, the most exciting moments are seeing what ideas R&D put together to address feedback and overcome problems to better UX. Incredible time to be alive. Love BMW. I trust one day, i get the chance to work alongside this great team & steller automotive brand.
I have a 2015 x3 sdrive28i that has held up well, almost 10 years old 115k miles runs awesome. The x3 is truly a standalone champ for bmw. They have a model for everyone and you can get a good model in any price range. Under 5k-100k. I see several first gen x3's and x5's with 200k + miles. I love the f25 and mines paid off but I want a newer car I might just keep mine forever

Putting aside that fact no matter how "experienced" you are with your BMW's, it's naive to judge the quality of something you have seen just over a screen. I'm not saying you have to like the car's design, I am saying you cannot dismiss something without actually seeing it in person. To your final question, currently I drive a BMW 330i. Ironically I never much liked the 3 series until I sat in one, changed my opinion in a few minutes!

@@patatr4943 imo I prefere the last gen X1 f48 (might be biased cuz I own one 😂), but the new one is gorgeous, especially in that green color. G05 X5 is the best looking SUV BMW has ever made, it is so good looking and muscular. Honestly its my dream suv but too expensive.
The only thing I don't like is the interior, I don't know why everyone is complaining so much about the exterior design when the souless and way too minimalist interior design isn't getting the backlash

It’s getting in fashion to hate about BMWs design recently.. and there is reason with some cars like the 7 series and thr iX. But the truth is that most of the lineup is super cool and this X3 looks absolutely gorgeous! Great stance, great presence, rugged and elegant at the same time. Love it

no way! sheesh! it's out! love the way it looks! glad that they are still doing the kidney grills! love my RX500h but always something about the X3 that just makes it awesome! love the new X3! just wish they tucked in that rear wiper for a cleaner look! that rear end is nice and planted! and the interior looks modern without being too intrusive and distracting! at 2:32 love the way the car looks! Also glad they kept the Halo Energy Sword type of rear tail lights
It looks modern, elegant, the front is trying a bit too hard to look sporty. The side is super clean and beautiful. Back lights are amazing and sharp looking. That giant screen is better integrated with the overall interior design but still it’s a result of cost cutting. However, I wonder whether it could compete against GLC and the upcoming Q5, this avant-garde design language failed to attract buyers for the new 5 series, unfortunately this new X3 has that 5 series vibe. Overall I think the GLC is the winner
As owner of 2022 Bmw X3 M40d can say; would not change it for this one if Bmw pays me 10.000 Eur. Must say looks totaly electric, lost specific lines and fine interior touch of SUV. Is similar to some computer box…
This was supposed to be the SUV I was to get next. This was supposed to be a step up from the current X3. There's no way I'm considering this. It's terrible. Just plain ugly on the outside and the interior doesn't look luxurious at all. I prefer the look of the current generation in every way.
This seems to be a throwback to a circa 1950 American station wagon. The height and width is extremely close to many from this period. It just needs another foot in length.
Shame on the BMW designers who created the exterior and interior of the 2025 BMW X3. As a designer, I can say that I didn’t like anything else except the rear lights. BMW designers need to be fired and let them move to China and create Chinese cars. This is a shame for BMW in the entire history of the company.
Couple chinese students governing entire BMW design department finally got us THIS! And they are asking for a 60+K for X3 trying to pretend that it is still somehow luxurious. No folks - you are now in a cheap Chinese league. As long as Mercedes will not screw over their new re-design, they gonna benefit greatly
Vehicle Looks Amazing. Great Evolution of Current Design with Design Elements of Various BMWs. They should not all look similar or cookie cutter. People in the past all complained when you could not tell a difference form previous cars like the F platforms. i.e - C Class to S Cass - A4 to A8. Great job BMW!
Half-way compromise between the future Neue Klasse look and the iX/XM, and the current X3. My main gripe is the grille shape with the headlights - doesn't feel cohesive. If the inside headlights are angled, angle the grille too, particularly when they're that close together.
Exterior wise, it is definitely an upgrade. I do have a 2018 BMW m40i and the exterior looks much more modern. The only downside is the interior. I absolutely can't stand digital touch controls, very difficult to use & believe they are distractions to drivers. I was hoping to get a new X3 but at this point, I will just wait for the new X5. I hope the new X5 comes with physical buttons and reclining rear seats
Some people are hating that it looks like the X1 now but I've always preferred the X1 look over the X3. I'm also glad they fixed those God awful tail lights that are on the 2024 models. This design is way better and glad they're flush instead of protruding from the body lines.

It's like they hired a different low-cost part time designer for each part of the car.
you can see the cheap cost cutting in the interior. and to make it flashy and "new" they just tack on some led lights all over the place.
