The price is not good. Practicality-wise, I would rather have the Triton GLS A/T, they are in the same price range anyway.
1.3m wala pang ADAS, for 1.3m you can get HRV-S, has better power, has complete Honda Sensing, and you can also get HRV-V Turbo for 1.5m after discounts
HRV turbo or petrol corolla cross are much better choices for me. The kicks epower is also considerable as well as the Mazda CX-3 2.0L
Nasa 1.6 Million Pesos ang pinagmamalaki mong HRV tapos lagi pang walang stock dahil 60 units per month nalang ang allocated units sa Philippine market 😂😂😂 HRV is one of the poorest selling SUV in its class now 😂

This is enough for a single mom like me. Comfy for my daughter and senior mother. We usually go to cafès every weekend and twice a year out of towns. I live in Cavite so I just drive around and hang out. I dont go to Metro since it's too crowded and traffic is heavy.
The MIRAGE has been using a CVT for years now.
We were referring to the specific 1.5L that's shared with the Xpander having a CVT. Apologies if it wasn't clear! 😅
The older gen Lancer (Cedia) from early 2000s had CVTs, too.

@@MiggyMndza Nah, the Raize doesn't even come close to the Sonet. So Sonet can also be comparable to these slightly higher segment than the raize
@@ji1ro0 I agree. As someone who owns the top of the line Sonet, it's incomparable to the Toyota Raize (not even close). We're not limited to compare Sonet with Raize just bec of it's price point (FYI Sonet will have a price increase). It is sure very comparable to these slightly higher segment than the Toyota Raize.

Drove one earlier today and oh boy, many are in for a surprise with the engine of this XForce.
Tho yeah, build quality and refinement is way better than what most people will pit this with, regardless towards direct (Yaris Cross, Creta, Seltos) or its indirect (Sonet, Territory, Tucson, Kicks) rivals.
around 12.5 seconds zero to 100. it'll get you from a to b. but no fun-to-drive aspect, and low overtaking power. i've owned a 1.5NA crossover already (sold it). never buying one again
It would be interesting how this stacks up to the new Geely Coolray and the upcoming facelifted Hyundai Creta first seen in the Indian market.

In my opinion, this works on a handful of brand conscious consumer. Many Chinese brand that has more in Tech and Safety plus the affordability. 1.5M for a 103hp 🤔 (MG3 Hybrid, although not subcompact but same seating capacity: Power, Tech and Safety, Price)

Looks are polarizing, but so is the Xpander when it launched a few years ago. This will definitely be an eyecatcher on the streets. Pero 1.5L CVT 103hp for 1.3M? They must be smoking big rocks over there🤣🤣

Price is too much for a car with anemic engine and no 360 cam. They should have release a manual transmission option to compensate for that engine.
For the price, there are much better options. Mitsu messed up big this time
Exactly, Kia sonet has a slightly better engine but is almost half a million cheaper.

I'll admit the Xforce's exterior looks sick but at that asking price, I'd rather get a Yaris hybrid instead

Nice design.. Mitsubishi is improved its design sa wakas.. Unlike yung Montero dati yung ilaw sa likod panira sa “teardrop” design on an otherwise ok looks.. G4 yung likod di akma..
Looks good. Excited for it though I wouldn't say I like the color of the unit you reviewed. Also, how do the Yamaha speakers sound? Do they give off a premium vibe? That audiophile in me is asking.
At this price, it's better to look for other brands and models that can provide better performance overall. Unless you really WANT this or you're a Mitsubishi fanboy.

They need to bring this to Canada. The current RVR/ASX/Outlander Sport is 15 years old. Not sure if they will bring this xfactor, or the Renault based mk2 ASX.
For a bit less, you could get a Montero Sport GLX 2WD M/T or. Triton GLS 2WD A/T.
actually, Montero MT is being offered for 1.2m after discounts!

The power output is the Achilles heels of the car. Just need to get a couple more ponies, then it will do great.

That CVT transmission is a cause of concern. Mitsubishi most likely sources it from Jatco, which also produces the CVT transmission for Nissan cars. As we all know, Nissan CVTs are notorious for prematurely breaking down and are renowned for being overall unreliable. Kind of a deal breaker though.
Used to own a mitsubishi car with CVT and I never experienced any transmission issues in the 10 years that I owned it.
@oaba09 people tend to generalize, feel sorry for them.
I still remember when manual transmission was the standard, and automatic transmission was a cause for concern. Now that automatic transmission is the new standard, this technology is the latest cause for concern.
@@christian5570 - the jatco 7 and jatco 8 which nissan, renault, suzuki, and mitsu uses are more reliable now. Gone are the sirain cvts of old.
@@Mabrookla That's good to hear. We've been held back many times from purchasing Nissan products because of their CVT transmission. If need be, we opt for their diesel-powered cars since they use different transmissions.

Saw it in nlex. It is a nice looking car. I thought it is an AWD because of the drive mode. Front wheel drive pala to hirap sa ibamg terrains to.
Come to think of it, should they have replaced the fancy drive modes with a 360 camera instead? A 360 camera is more usable, how many buyers will take this off-road as it's not an AWD?

Design of its back is similar of what you can see with other Chinese manufactured cars.
the Lancer Cedia I think around early 2000s is already using CVT. so nope not the first mitsu cvt here in the ph.
Looks like it's a shared platform with the 2025 All New Nissan Kicks that was released in the U.S. Pretty nice platform but the engine is lackluster for its price 😅😅😅
Got to see it in the metal at SM Aura. That Piano black accents and the fabric (while looks nice) are what I, personally, don't like. Gloss black plastic is scratch magnet, and that fabric, seems to be stain and dirt magnet.
The interior and exterior looks great, but too expensive and underpowered considering its going up against the yaris cross, corolla cross, kicks, hr v and the chinese CUVs.
to be fair it has a greater torque compared to yaris cross and an edge over its appearance, although I agree that it is quite expensive for a 1.5L engine (200k above the top of the line of yaris).
I won't compare it to corolla cross tho, it's just on another level (along with its price).

Back brake light and signals are too tiny, can't see it under bright sunlight. While DRL is like half of the car. For the price, many better options than this. Mitau screwed up big time

@@lucky889s9 yeah I have an xpander and I do agree that the turn signals at the back are too tiny (just a square) and won't be noticeable right away in the bright sun similar to this in xforce.

Interestings. Seems like XForce would take on Territory, Trailblazer and Tucson, instead of the lower end cars like Raize and Sonet.
What an odd choice from Mitsubishi, tho they should really have gone against the Sonet and Raize, those two are flying off the shelves like their own Xpander.

The price is the deal breaker for this one. The Yaris Cross and the Ford Territory can offer more at the same or slightly lower price.
It looks really nice but for 1.5m id rather get a honda hrv v variant. 1.5T + honda sensing.

as to toyota yaris cross that is 1.6m, corolla cross that start at 1.5m, tigo pro that starts at 1.2m, ZST around 1.2m , kicks from 1.1m to 1.4m , xl7 hybrid that's around 1.2 and so on. all of these has cheap looking interior, not so fuel efficient and unreliable with fewer specs. saying its underspec is a bit of a low blow considering its actual competitors. the price is actually reasonable for what you get + a 105hp engine into a lighter car? just because it has a small hp output doesnt mean its slow. you have to consider the actual weight of the car. 👌

That's how Mitsubishi marketing is, They always overprice their cars that they expect to sell fast. So, they get huge profit during hot season(when they sell lots of unit) then offer huge discount when it's cold season. Largest discount I saw is around 250k.

The looks are doing a lot of heavy lifting for future sales. The engine, along with the transmission, is a bit meh, especially considering the corolla cross base that's a 1.8 hybrid is so close to the top of the line xforce.
Evolution? Caco's right, bring it back!!!

Coming from a 2016 mazda 3 owner. I'm looking to upgrade because of growing family.( I don't need a 7 seater).
I think the GLS is a better buy than the GT. The 220k difference is huge just for ADas,leather seats, park tail gate and the fabric trim.
Which is better for the first time car owner, HRV S or the Xforce Gls? Thank you in advance

Yaris cross over this X force. YX 1.3M variant with Adas, 360 camera, powerseat on driver, adaptive cruise while the 1.3M X force none of that.. OP and Underspec.
I'm leaning on this idea also. However, not all are fan of the dash cam and the cargo space,ground clearance, interior space (mas malapad )plays a big factor.
It's overpriced! It should price around 1m only, with 1.5m, you can buy a Triton GLS with 360 camera. Tsk. Kinda disappointed. I was excited and hoping for it to be my next car instead of Montero/Triton.

Why is there an x force review yet the triton is nowhere to be seen?
It looks good but lacks some exterior and interior and safety features and the engine is not so powerful. I think I would rather buy a Ford Territory Titanium X which is in the same price range as their top-of-the-line.
