- Today we upgrade our Camaro SS 1LE with some proper racing seats and harnesses! ! This will not only keep up planted in the car but will allow us to focus on the corner ahead. This install is only recommended for use on a road course with proper equipment, A HANS and FIA certified 5 or 6 point belts.

Do you just leave you airbag alert on when running the race seats?

Just took delivery of 2022 SS 1Le vivid orange - first track event coming up at Mid Ohio - good information on install - how much weight have you removed from the car ? My goal is 300 pounds - I would have thought those heavy Recaros would have been a much bigger weight savings number than 25 pounds - did you mount sliders for OMP seat or is it fixed - thx for video
What did you do for the airbag lights ?
That’s what I’m wondering! I want to add a better seat but need to find a solve for the airbag warning

Just updated, and thanks! My recommendation would be to go to a local race shop (typically located at a race track) and sit in a few, I found the OMP fits me the best, but may be different for other people. The OMP WRC seat is another great option to, had it in my Ford Focus

Where did you attach your sub harnesses to? Looks like the planted brackets don't have a sub harness bar
Best thing to do is drill a hole in the floor and mount it. I bet he just mounted to the bracket somewhere. I was just looking for the same information and decided the floor with fender washers is probably best. Definitely didn't want to have to drill my floor but not much option and be correct angle
