Inspired by old school classics such a Contra and Metal Slug, this game is a retro shooter that can be played single player or two player across 7 levels, with various bosses, enemies and more!

There's a older contra game that's probably the hardest contra ever to beat. It makes people quit playing the game and never wanna play it again. Which game is that? One of the hardest side scroller that comes ro mind was the contra game made by the people that made guilty gear, I think it's called hard corps

Yes its hard corps took me forever to pass the game and get all 6 different endings loved it so much had to buy the original sega cartridge complete in box…same went for contra 3 the alien wars for SNES

Great review. Some of the levels do have mid level checkpoints that you can start on when all lives are exhausted, but its not the norm.
Yeah I think I mention that on Level 4 there's a checkpoint kind of thing. Glad you liked the video :)

I was able to at least finish the Switch port on Normal. The difficulty was tweaked and the game slowed down a bit compared to the PC port.
Ah nice, so you're telling me it's even harder on PC and I suck even more than I thought?...
Has anyone been able to get the 40 lives code from the PC version of this game to work on Switch?

so its basically Probotector. Lol... i will be adding this to my switch download list. Now my question is has the programmers made a konami code like cheat?
On PC there's some cheats but I can't get them to work on the Switch one
there are cheats in this game for lives, weapons and level list. to get the cheats you need to beat the game on hard difficulty or you can just take a look for example at Steve Ow channel on yt who beat the game on hard and showed the cheats for console version.
