I have the same 3/8 Koken ratchet and it is by far my favorite. Try the Koken Nut-Grip sockets! Not dropping nuts or bolts saves me time. If I were doing assembly work I would not use them, unless a stray nut or bolt could get lost inside. I will be buying more Koken ratchets and sockets.
@@projectpinehills I have other ratchets but none that I would consider premium such as Snap On. I do have Wera, Milwaukee, Vim, Gearwrench and Craftsman.
Koken is definitely King of low back drag, but i personally dislike the reversed switch and not a fan of plastic grips. This why sold mine and got nepros instead. Not as low back drag as the Koken ones but better than other premium brands and really nice fit and finish.
Nepro definitely worth checking out. I’m new to comfort grips too, as the weather gets cold 🥶 I start to consider them lol. Thanks for the feedback, good stuff.
It's such a shame they only offer the soft grips on the 72t ratchets. Koken does knurled handles better than anyone else. The grip is also small, but so is every other 3/8 ratchet out there. The switch doesn't bother me, it's the same way with the old proto ratchets and I'm pretty used to it.
No the link is correct. The 3725Z, which is the Z series is 72 teeth. I counted the teeth on the model to be sure and the link is to the ratchet I purchased. Thanks for watching!
Just got the 3/8 a couple of months ago, and it's easily my favorite ratchet.
It is a great ratchet. Thanks for watching!

I heard about those sockets, I will check them out. Do you have other premium ratchets?

Hello I'm a new subscriber. I have to say great content right on the money delivery and oh boy finally good lighting and sound. A+
Thank you. Appreciate the sub! Thanks for watching and for the feedback. We’re always trying to make it better. 👍
Koken now has the quick release feature.
I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
You should really try out the Tone 3/8 drive the head is the smallest I've ever seen
Great video
Thanks, I will definitely check it out. Looks like a 3/8” drive in a 1/4” ratchet body and also made in Japan. Thanks for the info. 👍
@@projectpinehills made in Taiwan, you can also get it under Blackhawk and forget what other brand. they are ok, good compact head size but very weak.
When it comes to ratchets, I don't mind spending the money for a Snap-on.
I don’t either if they are the best. This Koken has been great.

@@johnnyolson258I had the same thought just the other day…. I was looking for the same ratchet without the soft grip. Thanks for commenting!

Good deal, check out the Anex screwdriver from Japan on the Channel. My current favorite. Thanks for watching! 👍
