2022 Impact: Betsy Berkebile | The Holdsworth Center

At Short Elementary in Arlington ISD, first-time principal Betsy Berkebile leads a staff of 70 people who serve 400 students and their parents and caregivers. To prepare for a job Betsy calls an “awesome responsibility,” she completed a district preparation program - a product of Arlington’s 5-year partnership with Holdsworth - that gave her the tools and experience she needed to be successful.
