I absolutely love how your girl's room turned out!! It's beautiful! 😍😍 I have been planning to redo my daughter's room soon and I got some great ideas from this. Thank you for sharing!! I have 3 kids but only one is as young as your girls. He is 3. If he takes a bath at night he usually gets pretty hyped up so I started using lavender in his bath. And he gets lavender lotion afterwards as well. It has helped ALOT with how hyped up he gets after a nighttime bath. He is usually pretty calm after and we read some books or just snuggle for a bit before bed. Hope this helps. 🥰 congratulations on baby boy!! I'm so happy I get to see your family grow on your channel. Your videos have been so motivational and inspiring for me. 💙 I annoyed my husband so much when I first found your channel because I was talking about it all the time! Lol. Anyway, thank you for being you!! Can't wait to see more!!
Our now 16 year old slept in our bed til Kindergarten. When school started it was easy to get her in her bed and in that routine. When my 11 year old son (who has always been my difficult child when it comes to sleeping) finished nursing at 1 he went and slept in the bed with her. They had an amazing bond and slept that way for years until she got more into her teens a few years ago and made him go to his room. My 5 year old still prefers to sleep with us or with her sister than in her bed. My husband doesn't like it that she still sleeps with us but I love that she does. My other ones have grown way to fast and I'm going to enjoy every second of my last one for as long as I can. Everyone has their own way and each one is different and that is ok.
Bedroom is lush
I feel like I will be the same way with my baby! It’s goes by too fast 😩😩
Have you thought about getting the Beddie bedding for the girls top bunk bed? It would make it so much easier on your making the bed.
I would start the bedtime routine earlier if they are getting wired after their bath. My boys were the same way and they finally got to bed on time and were well rested for the next day and it made mornings to much easier as well.
Here I am 76 yrs old & I remember the kids wanting to sleep with us occasionally. (The husband does not wake up, of course) I could never sleep with a child in the bed. Remedy-told them they could sleep on the floor next to my side. "Bring your pillow" I would hang my leg out the side. Lol. They soon realized the accommodations were not that great!
The girls’ room is beautiful!
A tip I have for bedtime is, and I know it’s early, try giving them a bath around 5 to 5:30. That gives them time to expel their energy before bedtime. Our daughter does this as well and it works out great. Her girls get to bed about 7:30 to 8. She also uses lavender body wash and lotion and has a sound machine in their rooms. Just thought I’d share that with you.
We had major issues when our kids were young. Bedtime and sleeping with us. Oh I remember those days well.
Take care and good luck with bedtime!! I know the struggle is real! 😊
A way to keep kids from being wild before going to bed. It works at least for my son who is now 5 years old. after the end of the day, first take a bath, then dinner, and then go to bed. or if this is not possible, give the children time to play in their bedroom before going to bed, about half an hour. The girls' room is beautiful❤, they will have wonderful memories from that time🌺
Oh look at their little faces, that's so cute!! Absolutely love the princess bedding. My daughter just turned 8 but still loves her barbies etc and she'd love that set ❤️
Our son is absolutely a problem sleeper. We didn't get through a full night until he was 2. We tried every combination of things we'd heard about and kept ending up with a kid who wasn't going down til 11 or went down between 7 and 8 but was up fir the day between 2 and 4. We were going crazy.
The biggest things that helped us were getting him a big boy bed in his room, Melatonin gummies at dinner, bedtime music Playlist with cuddled in his bed. He has since decided he needs a bedtime spray scent on his jammies that matches the bedtime bubble bath he gets every night, and those help too.
He's also a morning person, so he's tired early - but he gets a second wind that lasts a minimum of 2 hours. Our cooperation sleep window is literally about 30 minutes long, and he's 3.5 now. And it's early. Everyone thinks we're crazy because he's laying down for bedtime cuddles with his music by 6:30pm every night. But he's awake super early in the morning no matter how late he went to bed. And if he gets too tired, then he's too tired to relax enough to fall asleep. Both of us have insomnia and other sleep issues though so he inherited the struggle honestly. And he needs the exact same routine with all the exact same parts at the exact same time every evening or it turns into bedlam.
But if we prioritize his specific sleep needs, he sleeps amazing now. So we do. It can be hard because hang outs or kid shows or out of the house activities usually are scheduled right before his routine time, and we've realized we just can't do those things if they aren't really early in the day. It takes him multiple days to recover and he's a mess during that process and so are we. And sometimes it means we miss out on really cool stuff. Trick or treating has been a tough thing each year so far. Holiday celebration stuff in general are. Family get togethers have to be early morning or things snowball and his sleep routine gets demolished.
Everyone thinks we're giving in to him or babying him. But we know our kid. And we know what trouble sleeping well is like. So it doesn't matter what other people think. Some kids struggle to read, some kids struggle to use appropriate force when playing, some kids struggle to not be clumsy and crash into things all the time. Some are extremely picky eaters. All of these things are considered acceptable struggles. Sleep needs shouldn't be any different. We aren't wrong. He's not wrong. The rest of the world is just judgemental about his specific struggle. And a lot of kids have special needs that get judged for being outside the normally accepted variants.
So my advice is always figuring out what your kid needs, and meeting that. It doesn't matter if it looks like bad parenting to other people. We get sooo many compliments on our kid and how happy he is or helpful he is or polite he is. He wouldn't be these things if we refused to meet his needs to get enough good quality sleep at night, every night. Why would we choose to shoot him in the foot like that then expect him to perform like an advanced athlete?
Our job is to help him learn how to take the best care of himself possible. He may be a more relaxed sleeper as he gets older, or he may always be a high maintenance sleeper. It's fine either way. He's so much more than just what it takes to get him sleeping. It's such a small part of who he is as a person. And his value as a human being is not does he sleep anywhere anytime with no trouble? So other people can stick their judgement anywhere else they like. But they don't get to stick it to him.
Michelle, the girl’s room turned out beautiful! Watching their little faces light up was priceless! They are adorable! I can’t wait for the next video! Have a blessed weekend!! 💖💕🥰💓
Bellissima trasformazione in cameretta delle tue bellissime bimbe ♥️♥️

That makes me feel so better. My 4yr old has always slept in our bed and that was the 1 thing I said I was never going to let happen when I became a parent. And we can’t get her in her own room
بالصحة والراحة اختي
There bedroom came out so cute I’m glad they loved it
Hola bendiciones que belleza hermoso quedó el dormitorio de las princesas besitos
It looks so good Michelle! Seeing their little happy faces was too cute 🥰
Beautiful room. My routine is I couldn’t read to them was to give each of them a book or picture book depending on their reading capabilities. I called this 20 minutes reading time. I found as they got older it helped them with their reading skills and they looked forward to it. Best of luck! ♥️♥️💙
Great idea! Thanks for sharing I’ll have to try it out!
I love that bunk bed
I have no advice about the bedtime just know you aren’t alone. My almost four year old would stay up all night if I would let him. We also do bath around 7:00 or 7:30 and the goal is for bed at 8:30. It normally ends up being 9:00 or 9:30 because he can’t settle down. We even turn of the tv off and read 30 minutes before bed time. I love the room. It’s beautiful.
Great job Michelle I love the girls room
Love the bedroom and the bunk beds look like they will last a long time. Im a 1st time watcher, i have no small children my daughter will be 23 in november and a mom herself in April of 2023. Their current situation for living will not allow bunk beds.
Hi Michelle again congratulations to yall and the girls room is stunning.

Great toddler room transformation! For my boyfriend’s daughter who is now 7 we just put her in the bath as soon as we get home from after school daycare. She’s nice and clean and can go about finishing up any homework that she didn’t finish at after school and eat dinner then have some free time until bedtime at 8:30. It’s a routine that works for us while in school.
Awesome transformation.
Mąż pracuje w nocy, gdy mam zły sen to lubię sobie przynieść dziecko do łóżka. Razem bezpieczniej 😁

I only had one son and always bathed him in the morning since his diaper was always wet in the morning. Just carried that on to showers in the morning after he started school.

Super cute Michelle and I’m glad the girls have transitioned well. I always read to my kids before bed. That seemed to calm them down.
You are doing the right thing let her sleeping in her room with her baby sister
How sweet is their room. 👸👸 Love it!! 💖
Hello Michelle, everything looks so amazing and chic. It was so fun to see how happy the girls were. Contrats I hope everything went great for the delivery and I cant wait to see you baby.♡♡
What exactly is their bedtime routine? I know with a brand new baby it can be hard. But you could try start dimming the lights before you even give them a bath. Close all blinds and curtains. Once they are in bedtime keep you tone low and even. And maybe a bedtime story or two.
Very cute
So cute! I love their room! 💖
Thanks Melissa!
Before we got a bigger house we was in a 2 bedroom flat, my 2 boys had a room and me and my 2 daughters was in a bedroom, when we moved we gave my 5 year old her own bedroom and 6/7 nights she would end up in my bed because she has never slept in a bedroom on her own.. fast forward 8 months when my youngest daughter turned 2 I swapped rooms with my 5 year old and put the girls in the medium bedroom and now my 5 year old sleeps all night long because there is someone in the same room and she loves it .. because it’s only me and the 4 children I didn’t mind taking the smallest bedroom aslong as I have my bed, my chest of draws and my desk I don’t need anything else, they all have toys and need the space more than me , you might find now the girls are sharing they will both sleep better than having their own bedrooms x
So cute 🥰
Their room is so cute! I love your style. I bet they love it.
My children are grown but what worked for us.
Baths before dinner.
Then after school age
Shower,dinner,family time,bed .
Big mistake is summer,do not change routine.
My daughter as I said is grown, she comes home from work, shower’s,does dinner, has down time before bed,I feel maybe it was an ok schedule being still carrying on into adulthood.
In the end as they say now days what works for you boo 💕
Beautiful ❤️

Hi Michelle. I love your kids room and new bunkbeds and mattresses. Great job 👏 👍
Soo beautifull 💗
Absolutely beautiful!!! Love the transformation! ❤️ the girl’s reaction, priceless!!!
Awesome bed making skills! 💪🏻
The lavender bedtime shampoo and body wash worked wonders with Logan, and also had a essential oil in his diffuser. 😊
Can’t wait till next video!
I hope y’all have a wonderful blessed week and weekend! 😊
Thanks for the suggestion Tonya!
The bedroom is beautiful. I love the bunk you chose. When my kids were little I never put them in bed with us because my sister at the time struggled getting her 6 and 8 year old kids out of hers and I knew that would happen if I let them in. My other sister had 2 girls who kept coming in at night too, once she allowed the girls to share a bed, they went to sleep way better. My advice for your little boy is to never start even with breastfeeding. When mine were newborns and they woke for feeding, I fed them in their room rocking chair and then put them back to sleep in their crib. We’d cuddle a little and I’d go back to my bed. It worked really well for us.
Thanks for sharing!
Aww, how sweet!
Thanks Cara! 🥰🥰
I used to read to mine and ask them how their day was.
it looks so beautiful, what about the heating and cooling system in this house❣❣❣
Yes for some reason they do get wired after a bath
Been waiting for this one and it’s so cute I love it too bad I have a boy and a girl because this is so fun ❤
Do yall do bedtime stories? right after bath I would try a kids bedtime yoga video on CZcams. They're stories with yoga and deep breathing. They're so so good. Then reading books in bed for 10 or 15 mins to let them wind down even more before lights out
What a cool idea! Thanks for the recommendation Brooke! I’m going to definitely try the yoga! We do bedtime stories!
Awww I love the whole sister duo I have 2 small girls that have a shared room butt my question is what are you guys guna do with that beautiful pink bed ?? It’s gorgeous
Thank you Kay! For now we kept it but I’m not sure yet what we are going to do with it.
@@MichelleOMalley711 ahhh got ya that would be funny me buying the bed bcuz my daughter needs one lol
Night light
katlynRedmond 😃😃😃
Hi michelle u always looks so fabulous like u didnt gave birth 🤩 thankyou for motivating us always
I tried moving my son when my daughter came, he felt like he was getting pushed out of the family cause his room was on the other end of the house. I wound up just putting more beds in my room.... they moved into their own spaces in the tween years. my son is sandwiched, so definitely doesnt have the shoved out of the way feeling.... the only brief time it did work was when they shared the room on the other end of the house, but that got nixed pretty quick cause they are different genders and the oddities in this area.
Well done Michelle. What a transformation, a beautiful room for your two girls. I am sure you age discovered that being a Mom is not easy and what works for one family doesn't necessarily work for yours and what works for one child doesn't necessarily work for a sibling. 'keep calm and carry on' as they say, you seem to be doing a grand job. Good luck 😁👍
Thats exactly right!!! I couldn’t agree more! 😊
Hey girl!! Oh my goodness that stinks the bunk beds were back ordered for so long. Glad it ended up coming just in time before the baby came! Ive never seen a carpet shampooer that has a drying feature too 😍 I need that haha Love their bunk beds. Their room turned out so cute!! 💕
Thanks so much Ashley! 😊
My sister and I shared a room growing up (we are a year apart) and we loved it! Hit preteen age and not so much 😂
Haha same with my sister and I!
Love the room, Michelle. The princess bedding was a perfect choice. I hope they enjoy their new space. That is an awesome bed!
Loving this room makeover. Congrats on new baby. May I ask, where did you get those bumper things on bottom bunk? Thank you.
Thank you! They were from Amazon!
My husband and I would lock our door and our boys would go back to their bed. Mind you their room was 5 steps down the hallway and not upstairs. 😬 maybe they'd just go to the couch in your case.
Where did you get the comforter? It’s beautiful
Thank you! It was from Pottery Barn
