I can see where you’re going with your comment as the philosophy of the ST has some common ground with that of a Singer. But that’s where the comparison ends. My buddy 4 months ago bought a Singer Classic and to see one up close and ride in one (couldn’t talk him into letting me drive it!), you quickly realize there is nothing like it. It’s art on wheels with zero details overlooked, VERY light, nimble and the sound is beyond insane. Porsche looks to have done a great job with the ST, but is ain’t no Singer-not by a long shot.
I can't believe there are some people who still don't believe Porsche 911 is a super car cause it doesn't look "exotic" enough. 911 is sexy and it can perform!
The sad truth (in the US at least) that nobody talks about is that you can’t just go into a dealership and buy this model. You have to be offered an allocation, and even if you were, for instance, when the GT3 Touring came out, you needed to also pony up $100-$150K over MSRP to get one. That number is around $200K-$400K above sticker for the S/T, unless you’re a 918 Spyder owner and part of the ‘VIP program.’ Mark my words, this will be a $1M car one day though.
Estimates I’ve heard are between 450 and 700 to the US market. Of those, only between 50-100 will go to non 918 VIPs… so basically this is a reward to 918 owners who followed the non-flipping rule of the US-only VIP program (which ends in 2025).
@@briansimmons5363 also, how cars are allocated to dealerships is based on things like past sales targets being met or exceeded, and training targets. Champion Porsche, the largest dealer in the US, and Beverly Hills Porsche, the 2nd largest, reportedly received 8 and 6 S/Ts respectively. All dealerships in the US (I’m told there are 197) will get at least one S/T if they’re in “good standing” with Porsche North America
Hey Joe and Lori, you guys have come so far and are now on top of the CZcams car game along with the very best. Congrats and keep up the great work from a fellow Tampa Bay guy.
Fun for me to watch. I was born in 63. Got my first 911, 997.1 C2S when my dad passed in Feb. 2023. Such a great summer as I put on 2.5K mile and hit 3 digits speeds so may times, so fun!!!!!!!!
Joe, this is the sports car test drive I have been waiting years to see! This high performance Porsche should be driven wide open in order to give your audience a true feel for the car’s capabilities. Whether a Porsche enthusiast with a dream, or a Porsche buyer ready to “pull the trigger” you have made it easy to follow the right path. Thank you Joe, and give us more. 👍🏾😎
Thanks Joe as usual for your outstanding technical overview and Lori the best videography to fully experience a vehicle that for most of us is out of reach. Great work and Happy Holidays!
The next 911s (992.2) will be announced soon, and will ALL (except the base Carrera and the GT models) be Hybrid - this engine/manual combination will be even more special looking back a decade from now.
Porsche spent over a year fine tuning the ST. There is plenty of literature about what was done to make this the ultimate daily driver to celebrate Porsche’s 60 year anniversary. Sure it’s hard to justify its premium to most consumers but the customer of this car will have money to burn.
The ONLY reason you wouldn't get this car is its price which means you can get almost any car you want. This one will go down in the books as one of the best cars ever made
These two cars are almost at opposite ends of the 911 spectrum. This is naturally aspirated (no turbos) which means no turbo lag, crazy throttle response, and sounds so much better. This is nearly 600 pounds lighter than the Turbo S. This is manual only, Turbo S is PDK only. Two very different experiences, and while you can go into any Porsche dealer and order a Turbo S, you can’t order the S/T. The S/T is a once in a generation car, in my humble opinion.
All these cars are sold out Porsche must love the press to allow this much reviews of such a small volume production 911. At this point its teasing all of us who well have maybe standard 992 Gt3 but know this would never be attainable.
Porsche practically built their own singer with this one.. amazing car
That is a good way to look at it:
Perfect way to put it 100%
Definitely agree

@@thedudeabides1443 I mean yeah it’s not a legit singer but a modern day Porsche interpretation and amazing
As great as the PDK auto is, it's awesome Porsche is still offering a manual transmission (and only a manual in this trim!).
1,000%. you'd think that gen x money would speak to more companies
This is INDEED the king!!!! All time classic as you said!!!!!!!!
You are so very right
I LOVE the 911 ST. The only thing I would not want is the number on the side. I love the white wheels with the light blue paint!!
Easily handled
how will you know what number you are in the big race?
it's always a good day when Raiti reviews a Porsche. gorgeous looking beast!!
Thanks man for joining in
NA and 3 pedals! Perfecto🔥
Love the integrated instrument screen with analog tach. Hate the exposed panel screen.
Hey Joe! Can't wait for the Blooper Reel and Top 10 for 2023 to come out soon! 😊😊
Lori starts working on them next week!
@@RaitisRides 👍🏻💪👍🏻💪

Let's keep it a secret just between us please. Don't need price hikes.
Yep, that’s the king ! 👍
All hail the king for sure!
D o section have hybrude
Talk about cool stuff to dream about! That car is gorgeous! Great video/showcase!!
Thank you so much! I’m still seeing this n my dreams for sure.
I'm not a Porche fan, but I respect them. That car was awesome. Glad you got to come out to CA. I live in Napa, not to far from Sonoma.
Wow, what a drive... just beautiful.
Yes.
I'm not the biggest fan of the 911 or the Stick, but I gotta give credit where credit's due
Hey, Joe l loved the color and it is a Porsche, what more can you say, wow.
Tell me about it Dejon
Wonderful Joe! I'm glad you finally got your hands on one. Great review! I want to see your reaction when you get on throttle with a Koenisegg.😜
Hopefully one day!

If they really build 1,963 cars, how many will be allocated to the us? And of those, how many will be allocated to dealers in LA, NY, NJ, TX, FL?

Thank you again Joe great review
That is so awesome of you to say!
If I was rich this is the one I would get. As awesome as the 3rs is, nothing beats the feeling of a good manual transmission.
Lightened the polishing cloth too 😂❤
They go to all extremes lol
Moto Man got his manual GT3 Touring for $219k. I know he's got connections with Porsche. I wonder if this is worth more money.
All I can say Toby is heck yeah. I can’t believe the extra visceral experience this has over a GT3
Nope. Porshe. Bitter betrr
If resale is a matter, then yes.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍 I love new 911 look good real true 💯
I thought it would have been over the top( and cool ) if one of the passes in the video you were being chased by a cop with lights and sirens on! LOL!
Joe your research and delivery of car reviews are second to none . Thoroughly enjoy every one you do . Keep up the great work 💪🏽😎
Oh come on dude... there are plenty of good ones out there... do you have knee pads with Joe's name on them 🤔😲🤣
Yep hahaha
Porsche. There is no substitute.
BGO David
Such a glorious sound from a truly glorious machine. Porsche nailed it here imho.
Raiti, your voice is the only one that can out pace that engine! Thanks for the review.
You are so very welcome!
OMG😮😮 the engine sounds good everytime u change ⚙️ gears or downshift 🫢😮💨😧
Porsche just keeps getting better and better
Curb Weight: 3056 lbs🤯
They have 5-spoke polished wheels that are so choice
12:00. Simply the best exhaust note of any 911.....EVER!
your taste in wheels sucks
Such a sick car! I have a 2010 911 Turbo that I love. But this is my dream car Porsche.
Thanks Joe as usual for your outstanding technical overview and Lori the best videography to fully experience a vehicle that for most of us is out of reach. Great work and Happy Holidays!
Thank goodness Porsche is not screwing around with electric 911s. That was an impressive drive Joe.
Not yet
not anytime soon@@maoinc13
There’s gonna be a plug in hybrid Turbo S next year…
Gorgeous sound!! Epic!! Joe!!
Awesome, Joe!
Thanks for letting me share it with you
@@RaitisRides Highly appreciated.
You treat these vehicles with the utmost respect. Pleasure to watch these videos. Hat off!
Oh wow that is wonderful of you to say!
Damn that porsche s/t looks faster than it states 0-60mph 3s
It’s actually 0-60 in 3.5 sec, but who cares when there’s 3 pedals? ❤
My 3rd favorite Porsche ever!!!😢😢😢🎉🎉🎉🎉!! Perfect.
What are your other two?
@RaitisRides the GT3 RS and the iconic 959 Porsche have been my favorite ever!!
That's one gorgeous car! Thanks for the demo!
Again an awesome review. So good to see the manual still being offered, wouldn't drive anything but!!
Keep up the good work
Feel free to let me know if you need a navigator around Sonoma and you're driving a Porsche. LoL
Will do brother! 😂
Yeah of course Joe.
Thanks brother
A true sport car
I’m betting now that this will go down in Porsche history as the greatest 911 of all time
Yep, well, for consumers.
My new..When i hit the lottery & can find one car👍
I like the way that you think!
Finally sone German greatness. Sick of all the reviews about cheap Koren and Japanese garbage cars
Love this !!! Just not a fan of the 63 and the Porsche script on the door. Love the review !

Hey Joe thanks for the review, it was good one! Do you see yourself owning a Carrera 911 one day?
🔥 🤩🔥🤩🔥
You did an amazing job! #bestinthebiz
A normal gt3 is ultimate driving porsche without huge price premium of st. Porsche makes extra $100k profit on every st.
It’s not the same as a GT3, trust me.

Amazing review Joe.
Jaw-dropping Joe! Just amazing!
Trust me I know how you feel!
Love the manual transmission mandate! Man I want a 911. Thanks for a great episode crew!
They should replace the gloss black with carbon
$ 40 - 50k complete produktioncosts and $ 250k in the bag from Porsche, man they are so clever.
WOW, That's all I can say. An amazing review of an amazing car. A true dram car that brings back memories of the original 911!
Best sounding 911 ive heard
wow - what a ride
Speaking of 9000 rpms, will you ever make a review on a lexus LFA?
Lovely lovely lovely
I want it
The best drivers car in the world 🤩
i don't like the color but it sounds so good and looks cool
I like the flyby! 👍🏾
Manual transmission Porsche sounds beautiful to own
Mna this car is something else.
ANOTHER AMAZING REVIEW! Thanks brother! God Bless! Worth the Price!!!!!
Amazing car. But that price tag! Good filming. The lighting wasn't great. Why would the roll bar not be available in US?
My favourite is 911 Turbo S and I’m going to buy it soon. Thanks!
Amazingly beautiful car!
amazing car
W rims 🤍
Cmon man.....hit that 9.000 rpm !!!
The price though.... 😬 when compared to either a turbo or gt3
Amazing car dang ❤
Oohh yea on throttle!!!!

ITS NOT A PORSCHA
Its a PORSCHE

$291k USD is a bit pricey. I would go with a GT3RS at that point.
