People keep making this mistake but it's a E175 not a ERJ-175 actually maybe it's not even a E175 but a Embraer 175 as that's what the aircraft model says. The Embraer 175 is not part of the ERJ Family and is part of the E-Jets Family which actually means it's E175 and I guess Embraer 175.

@@VamarSwiss what separates the erj and e part?

@@spenofzeros The ERJ is the ERJ Family like the ERJ-145 while the E-Jet is the E-Jet Family like the E175.

@@VamarSwiss ERJ meaning Embraer Regional Jet, the E175, 190, and 195 are a major step up from the ERJ so therefore are in a different line of aircraft, but they are still branded in a way between regional jets and mainline jets so Embraer I feel like created a new type of aircraft line/model lmao.

I will admit the FIRST time I flew as a kid when I heard the engines spool back to climb thrust from takeoff thrust I thought the engine was malfunctioning and freaked out 😂

Oh yeah….thats good stuff right there. Delta flies a lot of those out of Billings Montana(where I live) so you don’t see any large jets but whoever was the pilot that day I went to salt lake wasted literally NO time getting to takeoff speed and we were off pretty quick. I was also right on the bulkhead because I’m so tall so I was right next to the engine and got to hear some gnarly engine sounds as well.

Strange despite using the same engine(not variant) it barely sounds like a CRJ
