Great tunes, Steve, to get things going! I’ve always used Google Street View to navigate Tokyo and other places around the world. I’ve just been looking around Bohol and checking out a few hotels to stay at. It’s a fantastic way to preplan before going anywhere-like being there before getting there, wherever that may be. The satellite view is also great for understanding the scale of an area and seeing how far it is from here to there. Indeed, many people miss out on using the great free tools available nowadays. Thank you for taking the time to make these great, informative videos. Have a wonderful night!
I’ve noticed Filipino reviews tend to focus more on the staff and management of a hotel or AirBNB than the property itself. You really got to hunt to find a decent, clean, hotel for under $40 a night.
Oddly Street View used to show the road going through our Barangay and another 4 way up in the mountains, but apparently they didn't go as far when they made a new pass
I play harmonica too nice Thanks for helping me with the SSRV I finally figured out how to get the apostille documents And very reasonable directly to state department I noticed the hotels are rated higher than normal Yes I would be to visit alabag when I come to Philippines in a few months Salamat PO good video
Never do the hotels by the airport in Manila no matter what the airport taxis say. Have a plan ready before you go and stick to it. Pretty sure, they get a commission for how hard they sold me on that one. I paid $50 for a night and woke up to it raining on my hand. When I woke up, it was also raining in various sections of my room.
The exception to this is the hotels in Newport which is the former "Resorts World" area by the airport. I have stayed at the Hilton there numerous times and it is truly 5 stars.
@@elitepctechit and the Sheraton share the pool but are expensive. The Marriott is over priced but has a nicer spa. The Holiday Inn Express is much cheaper, free breakfast, they finally added to the gym last time I was there a couple months ago. Also, that area is walkable from terminal 3 if you don’t have too much luggage.
@@petes1985 - I have more Hilton points than IHG points, however if I am ever out of points and have to pay with real currency, I will keep the suggestion about Holiday Inn in mind.
I saw J Giels in West Palm Beach Fl back in the 80~s and they had a harmonica player that was fantastic and u 2 opened for them. Little more practice and you too can be on stage kicking it :-o
I have used street view for years for this reason. Also download Google Earth. It's a cool addition. If your building a house and plan for example to do solar, you can see solar paths.
Why is this Thailand blogger, Coop throwing shade your way? He seems very interested in making you look bad. Something doesn't add up. Always three sides to the story!
Sir. I am not the brightest cookie here. I have my issues. But i try. I am not good with people. It is vert difficult. But I try. I am not perfect, but you still block me? I am a vet just trying to figure it out and take my time being cautious. My bad if i rub yall wrong. It was not my intention. My apologies for whatever i did. Or for whatever you found about me.. I am just trying.
Maybe im wrong. I have pneumonia and am not in my right mind. Either way shit is fishy. I have called every which way i know and all blocked. I just needed a trusted hospital. Thank God i am better with Islanders than american. Got it covered. Thanksand sorry if i screwed up. Again.
Best down-to-earth vlogger. 😊

Thieves are using street view people are blocking out the houses because of this crazy time we live in
Most people arent blocking their house image. I see it here and there.
Airbnb Superhost or guest favourite read reviews .Some top class stays there.hotels in the philippines always let me down.just poor over all.
