This man is my hero
I lived in the Philippines for 5 years. I have great memories in there. Now I live in Japan and one day I would go back there:)
Thanks for interviewing Tim Cook, CEO of Apple about his thoughts on the Philippines. - WW
But Tim Cook is gay
LoL.
Very good interview and man..he has lived a life. Retirement can be an empty depressing period without any real enjoyment..he inspires...
Absolutely fascinating! Steven looks so full of life and vigor. Living an adventure. I suspect that divorce was a rocky one. Having the courage to pursue a new life in a different country. Just wonderful.
He looks happy, content, and most of all stress free.
Thank you James
Happy for you, enjoy the "new" you in the Philippines.🤗
Another very interesting story of Steve. It’s a story of a man who lived in a modern world and 150 years later, chose to live where he found the real happiness. I love the story, even if it is short.
This is a very informative channel. Real experiences and life story of retirees. It helps me realize how beautiful the Philippines is ,its not perfect but retiring in this country is something that I really need to consider. I am only 47 but can get along with this talk as I love to listen the topics here.
Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment 😀
I like listening to the experiences of people for learning puroses .Am impressed that there are foreigners who like to spend their life here in the Philippines !
I doubt it if there aren't good Filipinas.
Wow, what an interesting story of Steve and his friend who were looking for a girl who has children. How I wish to meet that kind of man.😊❤️🇯🇵
You can. But don't settle. You deserve a good man
@Every Man Has A Story, thank you Mark for a great interview. It was great to meet you in person. I hope to see you again sometime.
Steve, camarines sur pronounced camarinees soor
@@neliafernandez1337 Thank you
He looks really very happy living in the Philippines. Good for you finding a good wife.
Always interesting when you see people living in cars/trucks. It's an interesting life, a daily adventure
I wouldnt say living in a car would be an adventure, but fine if u have an SUV or Truck which allows u to spread out.
I lived in a Jeep Cherokee and storage units in Arkansas and Central Missouri for 3 yrs off and on and found living without power and running water wasnt a problem i couldnt overcome.
Im planning to move to Leyte in 2023 for good on a very limited income, buy a duel purpose M/C and live a simple life with a lady who supports herself.
Im just going to give her 1000P a day for rent and expenses while buying most of my own food.
@@robertmitchell6080 that's the thing, there's probably a handful of people doing 'van life' for the lack of a better word here in the Philippines. In the US, I think it's a good way, I mean you can move around and visit lots of places and even avoid nasty winters. I don't it's very interesting to me, even the ones living off grid
...just don't get sick and hospitalized...
I can see Paul and Gio in the background grabbing food, an interview Paul had with Gio I saw earlier. Anyway, great interview as usual. I'm a local and one of the things I love watching on youtube are foreigners living or coming to the Philippines. Whether Americans, British, Japanese, Korean, Nigerian vloggers, etc I love watching all of them, of course this channel Every Man has a story, too. Keep up the great work and enjoy.
@I Love Filipinas LOL. haha..
Aha… so you support all the Foreigners who are Retiring in the Philippines ha 🤣😂😆 I’m not mad at you Coz I do too…every Foreign Vloggers I watch Them got nothing to do Here in the US Boring 🤣😂 when we retire we’re going that way too we just gonna let our House rented it… Nice interviews as usual Mark👍👍👍👋✌️🙌
@I Love Filipinas Mr. FK Off is welcoming every foreighner, the irony.
Is FK your name initials or just your fav expression..lol
@@videos-jq7je WHAT'S THE IRONY ABOUT THAT?? ARE Y0U DMB?
Another good interview, your guest spoke with wisdom and every expat should heed his words. you have have to consider the Filipina lifestyle and ask yourself if you can handle it. he's true the lifestyle is about 150 years backward.
That was a great interview Mark!!!!
Thanks Samuel 😊
Hello from a fellow Chico St. Grad, also Business Administration grad and stockbroker for 10 years! CSU 90 to 93^^
For me, three years at Chico State and I’m not sure if I can remember a thing. Lol!
If I remember correctly, isn’t Chico State the number party school in the 70’s?
@Scott K. I've been back to Chico from time to time. The most recent was probably 2015 or 16.

Thanks for a good interview. Keep them coming.
Wow, good for him, having two kids at 64+, I image he has made plans for the future for them. Good attitude, Van life and motorcycles I can relate. Build a House, Babies, like you said Mark he is all in. Not me, not interested in babies at my age. Smiles
I agree ! NO MORE BABIES
another great interview from such an upbeat man .
Awsome. Very inspiring. Im also living in a truck and looking toward the Philipines as my next adventure.
This one calls for part 2 :)
For most Filipinos his twang would be most pleasing to them- very clear enunciation, me too, I so liked it.
Mark tend to mumble oftentimes.Lol
Very interesting, Retired foreigners living in the Phillipines. What about Germans living & married to filipinas..
Want to hear more...
Good infos & Interview
IT IS SAD how the West has Declined… so many restless … less than Happy … Westerners looking to Escape to Asia…reminds me of me Dreams of the South Pacific… i was not disappointed… and got to Tahiti and the Cook Islands…by Boat..today… it is the Philippine Islands
and the Dreamers are in the Millions

Don't meet Filipino women online, come to the Philippines and there are thousands to choose from in real time.
@@etttoo3698 no one meets in person anymore. We younger generation meets online
Another nice interview Mark really interesting man..👍👍
Very informative channel... thanks for sharing..
Great interview Paul 🍀👍🇺🇲
Really interesting topic. thanks for sharing it.
Great interview Mark.
Great Interview!!!!!
Love this interview!
I've done the van thing and I loved it. I had a storage unit with my stuff in it and I slept in the Walmart parking lot. I went to Plane Fitness just as he did. I can renew my Florida license online. This guy is just a little older than me and my oldest kid is 37.
Great interview 👍👍👍
Great interview .good job .
Another fantastic video. I can’t wait until I sail on your ship and watch you possibly interview your passengers. Best of luck Mark
Thank you so much. We are getting very close on the ship

Yes, honesty is best policy. Happiness.
Excellent interview. 😜✌️👍👏👍
Very good interview Mark….
This was a great interview.
Most people now in California and other states in the US are living paycheck to paycheck, homeless living in their cars because of high rent and inflation.
That's what I keep hearing. I'm lucky I made the leap when I did.
Here ..the safety net is a good family/strongly grounded morals and Bigger is much better ..so make the most and choose wisely. a small parcel of land can gain the family a fruitful harvest that will last till the next harvest season ...
Amen hallelujah AMEN
Very inspiring .
Very informative
Very interesting interview.
Enjoyed the cameo appearances in the background:) Nice interview.
Thank you Scott 😊
What a contrast in the two Steves. This one is full steam ahead no consideration of the past and his present challenges. It sure makes for a full life. The last Steve is more considering of his future based on his past. Neither is right or wrong just very different personalities.
American personality type vs British personality type
Extra definitely found your channel, glad I did, my kind of California burned down a few years back and I'm thinking about doing something new
He is doing what I want to do. I'll make it.
Yes ..it’s actually good to really find a GOOD Filipina... I just did 13-14 years ago. And yes ..it’s true that we need to see the family first and weigh things really well before getting and or signing such marriage docs, ehehehe if you can handle well while with the whole family, then it’s a GO. I still in such a happy life with this FILIPINA. YEARS to go.
We go to Daet 2 times every week.
Let's meet up for lunch one day soon.
Goodday Sir ...I was hovering on the tube I found your interesting video..I decided to listen to your conversations as I was listening to your story ..it definitely very interesting indeed ..thank you for sharing your interesting story..Looking forward to your next Video..keep safe and good luck 🍀🍀🍀 & bless always 🙏 Amen...

Great interview Mark! Maybe he can renew his drivers license online. I did this 2 months ago with no problem.
You can as long as you have same address
@@everymanhasastory Yes, you're right. I've been using my brothers house address for 12 years now.
I have a Honda VTX 1300, the best bike I have owned, do my own oil changes and tires.
Good happy vibes 😊
My british husband want to live in the Philippines we have a house there will be there soon once i sorted our business in Uk
Love your channel no sugar coating for real.yup for passport us and phils are good for 10 yrs now, just have done mine! like he said love america and all the family there ,but as of now i'm not thinking to live there again...same as me!!!
Thanks for watching Jay
Our passport here in Ph is for 10 years now. It just recently implemented.
Hysterical watching Paul primp in the mirror!
I almost thought I saw Paul and Gio take a seat in that back booth. 😊
good interview.
Steve had a fantastic story 26 yrs of marriage to an American girl goes sour and he finds a Filipina girlfriend and then wife that’s nice. After 31 years of marriage and my wife left me I’m hoping for the same for me.
sorry to hear it. This guy seems cool. I am not sure I agree with bringing children into the world at that age, though
@@commonsense4889 I recently married my Filipina wife and plan on having kids. I have been with her for awhile and during that time I realized that the best gift I could give my wife was a child. Family is so important in their culture. I am in a first name basis with dirt, so I don't expect to see grandchildren. But I am setting up my wife, so she never has to struggle financially to survive when I am gone. That includes stocks, real estate, social security benefits for the kids, and a Cash emergency fund.
Simplicity 🙏👍
Retired here in 2006, oh the story's I could tell. But enjoy watching those here only a few years.
Another great interview, Mark. I like seeing good guys my age get what they want and enjoy their lives. It's just my tough luck that I'm such an odd duck and don't want to live with anyone. But I completely approve of the guys who are making their lives, and the lives of their wives and kids, better this way. Positive in every way.
Good job stay safe and injoy
Nice interview love it story
Been here since 2015. Love it.
PH only works if you like Florida summer weather 365 days year, and you like to hear the most voiced phrase in every store is, sorry out of stock
Rules for scooters and motorcycles
Always allow enough distance to stop quickly and always be able to stop in the distance you can see. Like going over a hill or a curve, always expect a broken down vehicle you have to stop for, a child or a dog. Some people drive without their lights on at night also.
Most important use a car or truck to run a cover for you, follow them at a safe distance, if anything is in the road they will hit it not you.
100% attention at all times. I enjoyed my scooter and getting around cars squeezing between at lights. Drove from Cebu to Baguio using ferries.
Check out the 24hr $125 stateroom on the ToGo ferrie from Manila back to Cebu for your bike
MORE FUN IN PHILIPPINES DO WHAT THE LOCALS DO.
He looks a little like Alan Alda who played Hawkeye on MASH….
I think married certificate from PSA (Phil. Statistics Authority) plus birth cert., and NBI Clearance is enough to change wife maiden name to that of her husband to get a passport. Valid (not expired) Govt. issued ID is also needed.
Fun informative
What a nice chap!
He’s my hero! Totally went for it.
Hi.. 1st time to watch your vlog... Now i'm your new subscriber!!
Thank you Melodie 😊
So cool
Great interview yes filipino women do truly love and take care of their men even though they are much younger, I as well met my girlfriend on filipino cupid. One thing I learned though is be careful of the women that contact you right away after you join they tend to be the women that aren't sincere so beware, do your own search and I have found women from the Province's are the most caring and true to heart. I'm all in here in the Philippines it's absolutely amazing here for retiring!!
Lots of foreigners moving now to the Philippines and they settle for good.
You just need to find a *nice Filipina* to live happily and contented in the PH.
Like you sir, I met my husband in FilipinaCupid 8yrs ago.
Hello sir how are you whaching Philippines Davao City
CHICO!!! WOOT WOOT
Heres a trivia for everyone.
How long will it take to complete a tour of the Philippines by visiting one (1) island a day?
Not long. A little over twenty years😊😊
You know I am sure every woman has a story too, are there women from foreign countries who moved to Philippines?
nice
dude's got a great voice-over voice for documentaries! the wifi issue is what scares me as i teach online. is a generator enough to escape the brownouts?
At 7:00 Paul + Gio saunter across the background. Small world.
❤️❤️❤️
Its good that you have a nice experience here i know you know some stories about what happen to other foreigners here sad to say
Dang 36hr ride. I can't even drive 8hrs without being sleepy
400cc is plenty as we don't have much expressway
My son's name is Travis.
👍
Pennsylvania boy!
Bicol area is prone to typhoons compared to places in PH.
Eastern part of the Philippines is typhonmon prone. If you wanna be safe, better to live in the western part and northern part of Luzon.
