This song goes so so well with the rest of the album, basically the album is a day in their life ( quite literally cuz the tracks contains hours in their names ) and they are back against the wall cuz they forgot that their managers told them it's the final day for you guys to release a song,with all the tracks they lead us through this day of doing absolutely nothing beside having fun and killing time, and the album ends on this song which represents their regrets of not doing anything proactive/useful the whole day, but as they also say "tomorrow I'll probably forget everything about it" and basically go and do this all over again lmao such a masterpiece of an album, words are cheap to describe it.

You should know that Gringe was not talking about the problems he experienced. After doing projects with Orelsan he released a solo album. It reveals much more it's problem. I recommend you listen to Gringe "Scanner". It's sad and beautiful music.

Just a little thing I noticed during your reaction, when Orelsan is saying "I'll do anything to never become a lost 50 years old", he's more talking about people lost in their life that people who aren't able to do anything.
Like for sure Orelsan will agree with you on this point and it's probably the type of guy who preferred die either living but not being able to do anything.
But there, he's more talking about 50 years old people which are confused about their situation, their job that most of the time they don't really like, their dream that they didn't achieve for most of them, or those that didn't enough enjoy their 20's and that are now capable of abandoning their family and give up their wife and children to live a life of a young man.
I don't really know how is it in other countries but in France there's a looott of people like this unfortunately.
