I’ve never met someone who calls it haymaker I just call it punch 😂 also if u watch naruto I cal it gentle fist instead of power hitter

@@flozah89 just spikes but other than that we have a name for everything (mostly inappropriate) it’s kinda an inside joke where we just shout out random things as our powerups

How do you suppose dodgeball is accomplished? Hitting the ball like normal would be too easy to dodge the ball, that gridiron football throw is too difficult to aim and hit targets.
@@KHam56 The devs could make the ball move towards the nearest opponent similar to how the ball moves towards the opponent's net in heatseeker.
@@GIAGreenFire even with the current lock on and homing you still wont be able to hit the player. You can bump the homing values and endlessly fight for the balance of dodgable and hitable but it would still be bad. For this to work in RL then shooter mechanics would have to be created. Peep the game disco dodgeball.

Need a variation of this with coaches picking their team's power-ups. I can envision some serious mind games being played and interesting strats. Having a 2v2 with coaches calling plays and giving powerups would be a fun watch and could get sweaty real fast.
and with limitations like "you cant use this 2 times in a row"
can we appriciate how much lethamyr has such a big brain the size of the plannet, not only great mechanics but also comes up with some awsome content that's so wacky you can almost never predict what he is going to upload

Would love to see this with other rocket league effects/restrictions like full boost, no boost, disabled jump, disabled air roll, different car speeds, heatseeker, reverse heatseeker, etc.
Such a cool and simple idea to implement.

Can you imagine 3v3 on this where all 3 players have their own power up that they chose before the game and no 2 team mates can have the same power up. So much potential to make the game fun again

I play rumble as my primary and would love this as an option!
@Lethaymr I've got a great idea! Rumble but with Twisted Metal weapons as the power ups. I'm thinking twisted metal 3 era cause that's when I played. You've got the Ricochet that bounces around the map until it hits someone, Rain which is basically napalm and will leave a patch of fire on the field, Homing which will chase your target a little bit, you can setup mines to be triggered whenever you choose....... Adding in any of these weapons to the regular Rumble arsenal would be pretty cool but implementing a bunch of them? That would be awesome.
