I will say- Johnny Sacs had the most fitting death on the entire show. It was just so perfect that he died from lung cancer considering he was always chain smoking cigarettes and as he mentioned that Johnny Sac was never rushed by anyone, neither is cancer... the disease slowly took time to develop and then it explodes and gives you a feeling that something bad could happen at any moment. It almost mirrors his personality in a way. Just very befitting for the methodical character that he was.

What a pleasure to spend 2 hours with such an amazing actor and listen to the man behind the character. There's a reason why the Suprano's is now revered as a high point in TV drama and Vincent Curatola had a major contribution to this success. The casting in the Suprano's was part of the genius of the series and the writers made the story magic.

Played the only character Tony Soprano respected. Was in the last scenes with Sydney Pollack who played an inmate doctor in the Sopranos. Ironic was in the scenes, Vincent's character was dying when it was actually Pollack who was terminally ill.

Pete brings up a good point. My Italian Dad never shook my hand, hugged me or said he loved me. Not his fault; that's the way HE was raised and so-on down the family tree... a family trait I guess. But we had a mutual knowing of great love and respect for each other. I knew my Dad loved his children dearly. He showed it constantly. His family was his world . And he knew we loved him greatly. I remember when I left home for the first time for college out of state, he waved goodbye and didn't say anything as he was about ready to cry because he didn't know any other way. But I already knew how proud he was and how much he loved me. So, some of us were raised to not verbally express ourselves in difficult emotional situations. When my dad was dying, it was impossible to hold myself together and find the words to say goodbye and say how much I loved him and how he meant the world to me, regrettably so. But I know he knew anyway. Miss him so much. Great interviews Pete. I saw a half dozen in the last couple of days. Good stuff. Thank you.

Vincent I loved you in the Sopranos as Johnny Sack. There was a Army Officer who had these homes built after the soldiers came back from WW2. I was born in the Burroughs of Queens, then raised in Oceanside LONG ISLAND..near Levittown. Then we moved to the Pocono Mts, PA. Worked in Operation Dept in 2 timeshares. Met so many interesting people. I used to check in foreigners, some Mafia it was so interesting. Then moved later on down to WV near Charleston. And in St Albans people built homes for ex military in ORDANCE PARK. Years ago it was very nice now there are slum lords who just rent to druggies, etc. I truly loved your gentle voice, Vincent as Johnny

It's only been around about 100 years since we've been able to keep a visual record in the form of video, out of the millennia of human history since we started keeping written records, time stands still for it, Soprano's will live on through multiple generations long after we all die. It should be preserved. It's hard to believe for me that Sopranos is as old as it is, eventually it will be 50 years old. If I'm around I'll still be watching it.
