I love how everyone respects and fears Furio even though he’s a relatively low rank soldier. He’s such a stone cold professional. And he doesn’t have bad habits like everyone else. He’s one of the few guys who’s really in shape and not destroyed by drugs or gambling
Maybe you missed that scene before a funeral where Furio was railing lines and ripping bong hits with Chrissie and Adriana.

Ugh there’s just something about the season 1 lighting that I love SO much.
Yeah it was all filmed on Super 35 but the S01 was diffused in 4:3 and in sd, not 16:9 720p like the rest. I could be wrong tho, not much info out there. I believe the S01 blu-ray still has the 4:3 ratio, it's always nice to have remastered stuff in 4:3 1080p
Same with Breaking Bad first 2 seasons. Felt like a dream. Season 3 and after lost that feeling and i never understood quite what it was.

I noticed something during my last watch; in one of the early episodes where they're all sitting outside the pork store (I think it was Centanni's, before the crew built Satriale's) and Johnny Sack is there, and he's wearing a track suit... I _think_ that is the only time he is shown wearing a track suit throughout the entire series bc afterwards we always see him in a suit.
It's only Centanni's in the pilot. But you're right that we never saw him dressed like that again.
@@darth856 He's wearing a track suit a couple different times when he's chilling at home with Ginny. Like when he's on the phone with Ralph and when he oks the hit on Ralph with Joey Peeps. From his house phone. Smart. In "All Due Respect" Tony calls John while he's at home and doesn't speak when John answers and hangs up, John's wearing a brown horizontally striped track suit. I think the track suits they wore in the show are pretty classy looking, definitely "clean" looking. They don't look like slobs and they can't wear suits 24/7.

John meeting Furio reminds me of a scene in a GTA cutscene.. Furio being the player
He was Carmine’s underboss from his first appearance of the series he’s always been “relevant”.
Actually, if my memory doesn't betray me, he wasn't at this time. He was just a captain, in charge of business with New Jersey. He became Carmine's underboss later in the series.
I think they mean relevant to the plot. He helped solve the Hesh issue early on, but mostly he was just there. In season 3 is where he becomes more important.
