  • Composite resins have led to significant advancements in restorative dentistry offering patients a highly aesthetic and minimally invasive option. Ii is an extensive topic and also quite important from examination point of view. In the first part we discussed the composition and classification of composite and in the second part we looked at the clinical techniques for anterior composite restorations. This video explains the clinical technique for posterior composites, examples of matrix system used, oblique increment placement procedure for composite resin restoration of the proximal box and examples of finishing & polishing instruments used for final contouring of restorations.
