Yesterday I had a big order for me delivered from a couple of shops. I stocked up on cat food, litter, drinks for me, thrivelife, salt for outdoors and other things like rice etc. I hate going out in the cold and snow. I’m 70 and it isn’t as easy as it used to be.
This time of year I have many tangerines, blood oranges, lemons, limes and bananas in my yard...my key lime tree produces hundreds each summer. I make key lime pies and juice a lot of them and freeze the juice. There are so many bananas that grow like weeds with over 60 on each pod. There are several types of bananas, all sweet and delicious. We put over over half in front of the house to share with neighbors. My one neighbor has so many grapefruits and avocados that the kids are always bringing some over to me. I also have a lychee tree that should start producing fruit next year, I can't wait! The coconut trees are all over the island. Never sit under a coconut tree as they are dangerous. If they fall on you, they can severely hurt you. Many deaths have occurred by falling coconuts... mainly to tourists. I do envy your crop of potatoes and carrots though! Sending all of you much Aloha! (FYI, aloha means hello, goodbye and love).

Such a great variety in your Costco, more than ours. Love the neck warmers and ice grips for your boots, can't find them here yet. I was shocked this morning when our Cuties nectarines went from 3.99 to 6.99. Everett is a hoot, always in a great mood! Have a great weekend!

Our one Costco that has the liquor in the middle of the store near produce, we can check out the liquor with our purchase.
Other Costcos in my area have a separate store.

I also saw you pick Tikka Masala. You can also make chicken Tikka Masala. Our grocery stores (Canada) sell Butter chicken sauce. You can try at your Costco or any other grocery stores.

Cetaphil is also very good, that’s all I used as a kid for my eczema. When shopping it’s hard to keep things straight so I have definitely picked up the wrong item and forgotten things too!
I’m all stocked up on the lotion and I am glad I found it on sale! Mark saved the day and got us some whipped cream!

Those Gamma Vaults are amazing! I have 4 in my pantry ~1 for my red potatoes, 1 for my onions, 1 for flour & 1 for my sugar...just makes life easier.
I noticed the other day when I was at Sam's Club they have a puzzle like the one you showed us from Costco...lol

The prices for the clothing seem really good for the winter special bits! Those sweaters you showed looked super cozy. I've seen a few people talk about those fleece lined trousers, they sound super warm and comfy. Got to love a comfy outfit in the cold.

You should try making Butter Chicken. Lots of recipes on you tube. We eat with tortillas (heat the tortilla on a frying pan and spread ghee or butter) or rice. Also in one of your vlogs I saw you looking at the fruit Rambutans. Rambutans are also full of potassium, a mineral that helps your heart beat, kidneys function, and muscles contract. Rambutans are rich in vitamin C, which is a potent antioxidant. Consuming antioxidants helps fight off free radicals, which are waste products in your body that can damage your cells. They are so delicious.

The dream team are back shopping lol x I work in a pharmacy and I always make sure we have Cetaphil in stock , with heating on full blast during the winter it dries out your skin big time.

Hi Friends, yay another Costco trip sans snow👍. Everett drawing is so good, his running commentary priceless! Didn't think he ever met a sample he wasn't keen on but today he found one. Gosh you had me beat with a couple of items today, hash spuds (mmm dehydrated potatoe🤔) and stove top, had to look those up. Luna still looks like a kitten, she has such a baby face and wants to see everything you got also🤭 so adorable. Was the Pumpkin Pie any good? I'm a tad afraid of Costco cakes because if it's yucky it's alot to waste, Thankyou for sharing ❤
Thank you so much for watching! I like the smaller specialty cakes from Costco, I feel like they do a good job. The dehydrated potatoes are great for food storage as well as the stuffing. Do you eat stuffing over there? We really enjoyed the pumpkin pie once Mark brought home the whipped cream. I think it is hard to mess up pumpkin pie but I have an army to eat it so it went really fast. Thanks for being here!

Awesome haul i just went to the store spent 85$ got everything that was on reduce got a ham for 8.07 12 pounds cooking it today because it will feed us for 3 days. And you don’t have to be a kid to want all the toys in the aisle I can see myself shooting my husband with all the nerf guns just for fun, lol!

That is interesting about the liquor dept being separate. I don’t drink much for health reasons, but when I travel I try to try one local beer.
My dermatologist said to use Cetaphil products and I wouldn’t need anything else. It’s more economical too. I use lotion, face wash, and cream. There’s a new body wash out now too. Big bottles last a long time.

Duck can be greasy but really tasty. A lot of the fat just drips off and the meat itself is not greasy at all. We love duck with just a bit of seasoning salt!

Albanese is made in Northern Indiana.. can go thru the plant on a tour and go into the store and purchase the different flavors indivually.

My Costco haul was 234.87 today, yikes thats a lot for me but we needed a few higher priced items. It must be the time of year for veg to be bead ours looked terrible as well. As always enjoyed watching Everett be so excited, such a pleasant little guy. He know how to spot those delicious samples :)

Cetaphil is a nice thick moisturizer. funny thing about those hand soaps christmas 2019 my grandmother bought 2 of those hand soaps and we all picked 1 out of the bunch as 1 of our gifts. the berry one smells good and the candy cane. We are in the Seattle WA area so we get a lot of things first down here. feel like we are the testing ground lol there are so many costcos out here but i love it and they all have certain items that the other might not have. i love it

I love spaghetti squash, I split the squash in two scoop out all of the seeds out of the middle, then I rub the back and middles of the squash. I then will put salt, pepper and garlic powder inside and out. Bake at 350 until tender. Some people like to put spaghetti sauce on them however, I don’t care for that. I just scoop out the inside of the squash and put butter with my salt, pepper and garlic graduals. Hope you try it and like it that way as well..❤❤

for the clothes if you take a photo of the tag you can type in the item number into the website and usally find diffrent colors and sizes on there sight even if they dont have them in store i just bought a jacket online that i saw in store and wanted a diffrent size

In Virginia there is a separate store for hard alcohol but you can buy beer and wine pretty much anywhere (grocery store, gas stations, drug stores)

The prices used to seem so much higher there. Now not so much! The “butt” cream is so nice! I use that brand all the time. I got the bar soap as well and I really like it. The tree was gorgeous, but wow, that was pricey. This was a fun trip! I’d make a terrible drinker, I couldn’t afford it! I hope you have a great weekend.

@@ThisAlaskaLife I am getting used to your prices. But, the prices here are really going up. Some of the Costco prices are the same as yours or close. Of course there are some things higher there. It’s just gotten crazy! I don’t think they’ll be going down soon unfortunately.

I am in Utah, and your Costco prices are the same as ours! Which surprised me, actually. There were only a few things that are 1 or 2 dollars more.
Typically we find the produce to be more expensive but other things comparable. Thanks for watching!
