- Calisthenics by definition, is a bodyweight sport which requires just your bodyweight to get started. However, in the materialistic world we live in, getting hold of some calisthenics kit is a likely route for most of us wannabe athletes and with all these modern innovations, why wouldn’t you? Many items that I use are available from Amazon, and below is a link to my Amazon Store Front, and if you buy though that link I will get a small amount of commission.

First comment from the most faithful follower of your channel Great video thanks for the upload hit that like button
Thanks so much my friend. Appreciate your support as always.
Great motivation!! As a 60 yr old myself I enjoy the content, keep going .
I’ll keep pursuing my first muscle up , it’s along journey, but it’s worth it.
Thanks.
Glad I found your channel Anthony. 45 year old here. Just bought a power tower. Can just about do 1 pullup since yesterday...
Look forward to progressing and seeing more of your inspiring content.
Welcome aboard! My son in law lets me use his power tower, they are great bits of kit. Good luck, and thanks for watching.
Отличный набор спортивного снаряжения. У меня и половины такого нет. Жаль, что в молодости у меня не было дома таких тренажёров. Я бы мог стать сильнее ещё раньше. Антони, ты молодец! Успехов и здоровья тебе!
Wow, that's a lot of stuff that you bought! Keep up the motivation!
Fera, seguindo seus ensinamentos valeu mais um bom conteúdo
Appreciate that.
Your pullup travel bar was similar to my first pullup bar about three years ago. My building was of concrete and I installed it in the hallway where it opened up into the living room. It was a pain in the butt to position it, so I rarely moved it. Besides pullups with a resistance band, I did dead hangs, plus cossack squacks and split squats while holding on to a resistance band hung from the bar. When I moved, I had to get rid of the bar. It did quite a bit of damage to the paint, so had to get that fixed.
I enjoy your videos I have got everything you have just listed and are on the same path as yourself keep up the good work
That’s great to hear. I’ll keep going, you too buddy.
59세의 나이에 정말 대단합니다👍👍
꾸준함이 만들어낸 노력의 결과라고 생각합니다👍👍
부상 조심하시고 언제나 파이팅입니다 🔥🔥
미치도록 성장합시다~
Thank you for your comment. Consistency is the key, I believe.
I saw a video from Eric Bugenhagen where he puts a small dumbbell in front of his waist secured with one of your elastic bands, instead of the belt with the chain. Check it out. Great video.
I’ll check it out!
I enjoy every one of your videos. Even your voice is so calming. I could listen to your voice during meditation haha.
Anyway keep up the good work Anthony
Thanks so much for your kind comment. Much appreciated.
Great idea for a video! Helpful!
Glad you think so! 😉
Thank you for producing all this inspirational content Anthony. I can do an assisted (no bands) jump muscle up but I am still hoping to do a proper one fully. Calisthenics is a discipline and way of life. God bless all the best from the UK.
Hey I’m in the UK too. Thanks so much for watching.
What an impressive journey, you're an inspiration 👏 😊
It’s been an incredible journey. When I started out just doing push-ups, I had no idea I’d reach this point. Pleased you found it inspiring.
Good kit , get two 20 kg kettlebells though
Will improve your strength greatly
Thanks for the tip
Great video, thank you. Looking to upgrade my pull up bar (for more clearance from the wall, etc), so where us yours from please? I tried to find the Amazon link thing you mentioned but failed! :)
The company I brought from, is in the UK, and I don’t think they export. The are called Exersci. Just checked their website and the item says “sold out”
👍
Thanks
What was your beginner routine? You look like you made rapid progress in 5 years, did you have a background in strength training already?
My background was distance running. I spent my first year just doing push-ups, about 5 days a week. Then I introduced pull-ups..
Good idea about raising the dip stand, will give that a go myself. How much do you weigh ?
You should 80kg.. I’ve raised the dip stand now, will show it in the coming up videos.
Nice video.
Many many thanks
Hi, really useful video
Where did you the swissies from?
Kensui.
👏👏👏💪!
Hi, great work dude.
What are the pull up handles (pair)?
I have a wrist with poor mobility after poor healing so cant pronate/supinate fully.. these may help me. Cheers
Hi, I got them from: kensuifitness.com/products/swissies-max?variant=43774193500372¤cy=USD&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=19993790354&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw97SzBhDaARIsAFHXUWDgJCMYSk66TBj4Yg_g6WwuKNzqPTge6qS9UP5HoFls4Gun5eNzETsaAk98EALw_wcB
Cheers for that. Love what your doing.
I see your swissies are for neutral grip. Mine are at 45% degree. I think i bought the after seeing fitpro hawaii using them. I still haven't used them.
I must admit I have only used mine a few times.
💪
Thank you
Hi there! What brand is the awesome pull up bar?
It’s by Exersci.. I used to sell them via my Amazon store front, link in my linktree.. but think they may be out of stock.
Your weighted dips weren't up to your standards, too limited ROM. So too much weight, at least 25kg too much. Perhaps best to do them without any weights.
When doing squats keep your back more vertical, don't hunch forward. You'd better make your technique better using no weights
Your pulling strength and form is very respectable. Your push ups are good also and even better if you don't let your lower back sink. It should be straight or even pushed up (posterior pelvic tilt)
I agree with all your points. In the latest video, I was really pushing the weight and reps and compromised my form. Thanks so much for leaving a valuable comment.
@@funwithcalisthenics Thank you. You have a good channel and it is very inspiring for many to see you can get fine results in strength training even if you are not in your 20's or 30's.
I'm in my late 40's but I'm not as strong in muscle ups as you are. You make me believe I can get stronger
5 mg of creatine is not much. I recomend 5g.😂
Ahh did I say 5mg? Oh no… I meant 5g… Woops
You mean 5g creatine
Correct, I got that wrong 😂
