I am so proud of her to come out from abuse relationships not so many women can’t strong enough to come out from dark relationships.
You can hear her sorrow within every note, and yet, you can still hear how she prevailed within those same notes. Absolutely stunning. It makes you want to cry both happy tears and empathetic tears at the same time. Phenomenal!

Sometimes, just sometimes, we get to see auditions where the singer's heart and soul come right out of their vocal cords. This magnificent lady is already a star. As for Simon, he's always authentic. Sure, sometimes it's harsh, but man when he gives it up, HE GIVES IT UP.

Josh - Some people out there are just plain sick in their heads. Too often we stay in a bad relationship because we feel guilty that we cause it? To get free from it, we have to be convinced there is nothing we can do to change the other person. Nothing.
Totally agree. I believed all the lies the PERVERT told me. I did not know he was sexually abusing our daughter. I guess I am still angry. What a fool I was for 30 YEARS. Ladies, please get out of a bad relationship and PROTECT your children. I did not and my daughter was put through hell. She is so smart, kind, loving,and sweet, but when someone tries to push her, she speaks up. She HAD to be quiet for a LONG time, but now she puts those jerks in their place.

My abuser was my husband of 47 years. I didn't notice what he was doing to me , because it was a gradual change. But when I did realize it for what it was, it had been so many years . In the end he died in an auto accident. He didn't wear his seatbelt, I did, I was driving. He's dead and I'm not. I struggle everyday with anger.

I know the feeling. My abusive partner wouldn't allow me to sing. I completely lost my sense of self when he took away my voice. He even put his hand around my neck so hard he left a hand print. It's been a long time since I've sung in public, infront of an audience, not even sure if I still have the voice, but this woman's courage has most definitely gave me inspiration to try. Thank you.

Her song made me have one of those life flashbacks of all my abusers in my life from my father molesting me from as early as I could remember til I ran away at 14, to the men in my life that used me as a punching bag. My ex husband who almost killed me with a punch to the head causing a rupture and having a stroke from that blow. But I am strong and have prevailed all the abuse and have overcome many obstacles in my life and I am still fighting. She couldn’t have sang it any better. Thank you
