In my top 5 of all the auditions I’ve seen in any of these singing competitions. Her jazzy, smokey & sultry voice is a breath of fresh air in these competitions
i have seen her on britains got talent many years ago...but i wonder what happened to her...but to be a big star, you have to sign a contract so maybe that was too much and travel takes you away from family...idk
@@sherrcon So many talented singers around the world. A lot of politics involved also to be signed by a major record label. In a lot of cases it’s not talent but who they want to market. Talking about talented singers, please checkout Morissette Amon & Gigi De Lana. Two young ladies oozing with talent but not household names in North America.

I could sense a little nervousness in her voice at the beginning, but once she totally immersed herself into the song, and then took it over - wow! That was a very vocally complicated rendition of a classic, and she owned it. Kudos!

My funny Valentine is one of my favorite jazz songs I remember hearing for the first time during the 1950s. Her voice is incredibly amazing pulling memories from the 1940s and 50s. I love her beautiful voice.

This is an old video from BGT. Alice is retired and no longer sings professional. Her fear of "stage fright" took a toll on her physical health that she had to stop. It is such a shame b/c I think she was really good. I wish she would have continued her singing career.🎉

I had that feeling when watching her. Not sure, but seems to be introverted and lack confidence in herself. Her talent seems to be a natural gift to not only sing but emote with her voice and movements what she is feeling. Like a flower blossoming before your eyes you are drawn in. But you can tell she only unfolds out of her shell while performing and it seems stressful to be outside the performance. I truly hope she finds happiness in her life.

For so many like Alice, reality is too unpredictable and intimidating. When she sings, she actually goes to that safe and dreamlike place, forgetting her fear for just a little time. Then coming back, she is surprised by our adoration as we listened and peered through the window to her soul. Hopefully, as she feels safe sharing her heart with us, we will show our gratitude for her trust.
It is stunning to me how so many people with that much talent have such lack of confidence, and low expectations of themselves. Addition to that her looks alone would have got her the audition. To say she is very easy on the eyes, is a gross understatement.
