This recipe is sooo good! I just made this today for my boyfriends birthday tomorrow. The cake came out so delicious, it’s the perfect amount of sweetness, great texture. I followed the recipe exactly and it’s amazing. The decorations were fun to do too. Thank you for an amazing recipe! This will be perfect for us two to share 🥰
I fond of carrot cakes and muffins, they are easy to make, incredibly delicious and no-one would guess by its taste that it is made with carrot. 😁 I usually use not pecan but walnut, it also suits. Our decoration for this cake is outstanding, so easy and beautiful. 😍

Nice carrot cake, I just needed something to use my carrots! What about a tinny hummingbird cake for one video? Slices of pineapple could be just thinly sliced in the middle of each cake like an upside down pineapple cake, except it could be 1 slice per tier.
Hi, I made the frosting it was okay. I think that it needs some type of stabilizer because it turned out exactly like a whipped cream so it melted kinda fast made the cake soggy and couldn’t eat it as the texture was odd to me. I wouldn’t recommend frosting the entire cake. I would keep the “frosting” in the fridge and just add it to the slice of cake as you’re eating it. Over all I liked how the “frosting” wasn’t too sweet however , it should probably be called whipped cream and not frosting.
Hi Jasma, all your cakes looks so lovely. Can I check if the receipe calls for high & low gluten flour, can I use wheat/bread flour (high gluten) n cake flour (low gluten)? Hope you can reply tks
The ingredient list and amounts are very similar to my 6" carrot cake recipe. 350 for 35 minutes in my oven. This recipe adds orange, but otherwise very very similar. Will have to give this one a try!
Carrot cake was never received well by my family, the Chinese palate just didn't accept the heavy cream cheese frosting. Your lighter version might change some minds. 🙂
