  • Over the centuries, foreigners have been captivated by India's culture, mysticism and traditions. They have looked at India as an exotic tourist destination and a place to learn the ancient arts. But now many of them are also interested in the country's booming economy, which allows them to earn and live in India by taking up permanent residence. From working in multinationals and NGOs, setting up their own businesses and marrying Indians, expatriates are finding many more reasons to visit and settle down in India. 'India by Choice' explores the life of some of these expatriates who choose India as their home and have become a part of the country. The film looks into their journeys and experiences that have strengthened their relationship and fascination for India.

      @Sahasranshu 143 hopefully. But all Muslims in Pakistan and b'desh. And India for non Muslims only. Islam must be banned in all non Islamic countries as it has genocidal warfare teachings against all unbelievers . It is also a political, militant, cultural, imperialistic SEPARATISTS movement masquarading as a religion. Therefore no secular state shud tolerate a unsecular ideology and unsecular political movement. Must be banned .
      Muslims wherever they are- their only goal is to islamize the land and implement the shariah. They will never stop at any pace. Therefore not allowing the ideology to exist within ur borders is mandatory . Any non Muslim who wants to convert to Islam can do so, with all free will. But he/she needs to move over to a dar Al salam country (Islamic "paradises") that way our populations are always separated with borders. Only way to solve the problem. Just like apostates of Islam have to leave an islamic country

    There is no shadow of doubt that India, on its way to acquire its established status of "Golden Sparrow" as it known in Ancient and Medieval time. Due to this status; many an invaders came through Khyber pass, the last one was the British, and only 68yrs of Freedom, Indian Sky has no Limit, as Men and Women of this nation are truly creative, hard working, an intelligent and above all Peace Loving, 'Live and let Live'.

      Bruce Wayne Mr so called Wayne, there were no doubt India was a thriving nation before arrival of Turk, Mongol, and Uzbek, their sole intention were loot and pillage. But during Mogul period India reached to its Zenith in the Economic prosperity and social aspect and many other areas. We still carry the legacy of Mogul 'Rupia", or "Rupee", most muslim rulers they did not rob the country but they made home and invested their talent, creativity in India. It was British to robbed the country to its last ounce of wealth they created man made Famine in Calcutta. If you knew the History of your country, as you professed. Sheer creating a rift between Hindu and Muslim is an odder I sense from your blogs.

The great Aztecs and Incas (even they were Asians / Indians in cultural connection with India) died out of spread of disease, brought fresh from Europe. Others that u mentioned were not developed at all. Remember, we r going for global unification.

Sijar Ahmed My friend love is more than just between a couple. Do you not love your family before or after you've a girlfriend(not to mention wife)? There are so many relations between two persons and you won't realize but believe me most of those relations are far closer than there counterparts in west. Sure most Indians are narrow minded about particular love before marriage but that's just one out of all the relations and other form of love. And it would be great if people will become more open minded and have equality between genders.

      I'm sorry Abdullah, but as an Indian exmuslim, u can't be Indian and Muslim at the same time. The Mughal Islamic invasion was the worst for India. Ur 's and mine ancestors were forcibly converted by the sword. The Quran has all sorts of genocidal teachings against unbeleivers and asks Muslims to wage warfare(jihad) against the unbeleivers for the implementation of Islamic law. Indians who were islamized by the Mughals have been continuing the same ideological teachings of jihad against there ancesteral religious group. Case in point- Bangladeshi genocide 1971, godhra train burning, militancy in Kerala and Assam.
      Islam is a political, militant, cultural separatists movement designed to arabize non Arab lands and non Arab ppl. And make non Arabs slaves to their Arab political theory of conquest .
      See ur Indian, but u have a Arabic name.
      U shud read the book, "Islamic jihad: a legacy of forced conversions, slavery and imperialism" by m.a. Khan . U can download for free the digital copy

I may return but our government and people forgot and threw away the freedom necessary for a human to prosper. I lived in Cairo for a year and I was much safer there (in 2000-2001 anyway) then in the USSA. We lost the republic. I believe Indians value their freedom more than most cultures who are wiling to trade it for the illusion of security.

    good piece of marketing....Yes India is beautiful....but this video only shows that aspect.
    I am born in India and raised in Canada, and recently visited India in 2006 and I can tell you India still needs 15-20 years (may be more) to reach the level of standard of living that is available in Canada and much of Europe.
    But yes, India is very inclusive, all religions, all skin colours, all sexes, all genders, all levels of dysfunction and co-operation can be found in India...just amazing!

    India was the richest country and largest economy in the world for 17 centuries
    (1 AD to 1700 AD) with a GDP average of 25 to 30% until the invasion of India by the British in the 18th century, according to a research done by a British economist named Angus Maddison and he was funded by well known OECD countries.
    His book is available for free in pdf format online. it says it all.
    "World economy. A millennial perspective and historical statistics"
    Check it out.

    @aparaajita10 it is all kinds of people of different faiths and nationalities that make India their home, so it would be kind of you not to make such loose comments on people.
    We are a resurgent nation and we will claim our rightful spot in the world, but we need to embrace India's core values of tolerance and be welcoming at heart.

    Very nice positive aspects of India but one sided. India good be a great place if they can keep it clean. There is dirt wherever we go

    • @ajmerthethy6724
      @ajmerthethy6724 Před 8 lety +1

      Yeah. India and its citizens are deeply indulged in their mentality of being disgusting. They weren't always mind you. Shampoos, baths, drainage systems, sewages and even at some point flushable toilets were invented by Indians.

    • @singhVarunVikram
      @singhVarunVikram Před 8 lety +3

      Well there is physical dirt, cleaned with resources and mental dirt , cleaned with anti depressive drugs etc. If I had to choose I would choose the former before the latter any day ! And even THAT lack of resources is what the westerners shamelessly plundered when they were invited in as guests ! Ring a bell ?

    • @georgecherian6520
      @georgecherian6520 Před 8 lety +2

    • @singhVarunVikram
      @singhVarunVikram Před 8 lety +2

      And that should be important to INDIA because ? Let me see..
      1) Your money ? Well europe looted it from us for quite a bit and we can still get it back by trade and India is not a tourism dependent economy to be so worried.
      2) The bigger reason is not money. It is to save your devolving society with lessening moral values and social degradation. If that is what you need STAND in LINE. It is a gift we give you NOT a demand your countrymen make and then show off your money from a western looted land ! And while you are REQUESTING for it keep your mouth where it needs to be as humble seekers not arrogant bitches !

    • @georgecherian6520
      @georgecherian6520 Před 8 lety

      I can see your anger. Yes, UK looted India in the past. Forget about the past and think about the present and future. India is a great country with unity in diversity, and has much to offer to the world. Present government of India is trying to spread some of our culture (like Yoga). If there is any moral and social degradation in Indian society, blame it on Indians themselves. Yes, India should try to preserve some of its good moral values and discard the bad ones like social & class divisions, and extreme religious feelings.

    well India is a place where anyone can live. Its our past n culture to adopt people of ol communities. Every event has two faces... choose the one which u like. Muslims came nly to loot our wealth n so as British French Portuguese n Dutch. I agree they have taken away more than what they gave to this society. But never forget that the present shape of our country wud not had been the same as it is now.
