look, I love the three of you. this pod is a highlight of the regular content I listen to. thank you for being awesome forza milan ❤️🖤
hearing the episode after the game and listening to your prediction afterwards it's the funniest thing since the robin williams stand up
We are all deflated lol f’’ sakes
If Milan management are having 2nd thoughts about Lopetegui then it’s clear to me that the idea was being pushed by a certain super agent and not based on the fact that they did their “research” on Lopetegui. In all honesty, for the profile Milan are looking for it would have made more logical sense for them to go for someone like Amorim, Motta, De Zerbi, Fonseca or Farioli. So the Lopetegui idea is extremely bizarre to say the least. Milan have too many people involved in the decision making process and we need an experienced Sporting Director similar to Morata at Inter like Bologna or Atalanta directors. Remove Furlani, Zlatan and keep Moncada as chief scout. We need a season CEO with experience like Damien Comolli.
I would love you guys to go to Milan and do an interview with guys from the Curva Sud Milano.
AJ, where was the watch party at? I'm originally from Baltimore and we used to watch Milan fixtures at Slainte in Fells Point.
It was at power plant live? Or something like that. Just across from little Italy.
Hey guys, not sure if you mentioned it on another show, but what are your thoughts on using Loftus Cheeks as a striker next season?
@InsertMillz Elaborate
How sure are you guys that Lopetegui was a done deal before the "fiasco" ?
Let that sink. These players lost to Inter Six times. You should never lose that much who ever was the coach if you had the Milan pride in you.
Your comments towards fans signing protests are disrespectful and inappropriate such as "Have a look at yourself" or "Go outside". Just because you disagree with it, which is your right, doesn't mean this is how you should handle it and generalize. We are a passionate fanbase that cares ..I would not fault fans for doing this regardless if it yields results or not
Come on guys to say inter squad is not much better than ours is just mental!! They beat us 6 in a row!! Walked the league and got great squad depth and until Milan do something to change our squad ti try ti catch up we won’t be winning the league and time soon and it won’t be 6 in a row it’ll be 10 in a row they beat us!
Padre / agent pioli takes full credit for that, how he's still the coach is beyond me.
Driving to work and listening to the pod is the best. Who needs therapists when we have this trio. Appreciate you brothers
When Anthony admits that he was wrong about Maldini about being a great SD ill start watching/listening to the podcast. The facts you guys can't see management are a bunch of lap dogs, yes men, even Zlatan, just baffles me.
bye 👋🏼
Pioli has missed a big chance to promote some of the youngsters. Bartesaghi and Simic should have been given more chances this season. Florenzi playing so much was criminal
Pioli talking shit about the players, when he is constantly getting out coached in big games is HILARIOUS! Pioli got out coached by DDR, he always gets out coached by Inzaghi, and consistently gets out coached in Europe. Dude is a mid level manager at best. His ego is ridiculous and i can't wait to be rid of him.
Milans downfall this season was their mercato. Plain and simple. Not their coach!
which signing was bad? what player has improved under stefano over the last 2 seasons?
Which signing wasn't bad, apart from Puli and RLC.. you can't make miracles with a big group of new players who have never played together before, and they are useless players on top of it. Go and read what Sacchi had to say in an article by Football Italia. Milan can't afford to replace Pioli with some random.
... and we are still second!!! With all the injuries and 10 new signings!!! And Pioli isn't good enough. And idiots are calling for some guy who has never coached in Italy!!?? 🤌🤌🤌🤌
Name me one AC Milan player who could replace any one of the Inter players!?
@@marcuspierantozzi Reijnders has been one of the best netherlands debutants in recent memory. One of the highest progressive dribbles and passes in the league. NUFC's chronic gambler wouldnt do better and it was a net positive replacement
Okafor and Jovic have been clinical despite very limited minutes. Much the same for Chuk
Musah has been good when he was deployed as a boxtobox.
Pippo has looked great until the single mistake that made the bald fraud not give the kid a minute again
Romero on a free whos a huge prospect
The only downside in the mercato is not giving Thuram that additional 1m that they were negotiating for
Objectivelly youre wrong
>Name me one AC Milan player who could replace any one of the Inter players!?
None and neither could they. Inzaghis formation and system is completely opposite to what Milan plays. This isnt fifa lil bud + half the players there are playing above their capacities. Theres a reason why Hakan, Henrikh, Dimarco look subpar whenever they go play for their NT. The fullback is actually starting to get benched and it wouldnt be a surprise to see Udogie as a starting LB come euros
>and we are still second
And only bc others have been terrible. Were consistently being outplayed by farmer teams like Lecce and Monza. Another season where we underperform our xG. Weve surrendered the title race very early (trashing in the madonnina), early UCL exit where we couldve gone past, looked poor against chech randoms and a midtable L1 side in EL, then getting embarrassed by roma where we were favorites. Early exit in coppa where we had a relatively easy path to win it. Definitely an amazing season
On the other side Maldini wanted Renato Sanches, Ndicka, Orsolini and the likes. Im sure that even someone as clueless about football as yourself can spot the huge difference in quality between the 2 sets
Big fan of the podcast but the last few episodes have left me a little disappointed. Your covering of Pioli is a little unfair. For sure his time is up, there is no argument for that. However he is right when he said that the coverage for his time at Milan has either been super positive or super negative. Lets look objectively at what he has done. He played an instrumental role in bringing us out of the Banter Era. Look at our expectations for Milan now vs before he took over. Milan has been reborn and while he hasnt done it single handily, he definitely played a huge part in it.
Next look at how he has improved so many players (barring CDK). He was given essentially a squad of mostly rejects or misfits from other clubs. Theo, Leao, Tomori, Pulisic etc etc etc are part of a long list of players who have grown exponentially during Piolis time with us.
Yes Pioli needs to go, yes he isnt the person to take us to the next level. Yes he often makes baffling decisions that make no sense. But i do think he deserves better than to be shit on at every opportunity. The Milan fanbase never liked him, and that has followed him his whole tenure.
Last week Oli said Pioli will be remembered for his failures, I heavily disagree. He will be remembered for bringing us back to the Champions League, for our 19th Scudetto, for our Champions League Semi Final, for developing a strong core of players for the future.
Im not saying dont criticise him, but also lets not forget all the good things hes done.
Lets thank him for his service, wish him luck and hope the management choose the right coach to build on the work Pioli has done.
If anything they are too slow and too late to criticize Pioli. It was obvious he is limited and his cycle is over more than a year ago
@@SH_0007 this alone is proof we can’t please everyone! I think our coverage of Pioli has been fair, one of those where if you have people from both sides attacking it means you have probably fallen nicely in the middle 😂
Actually to be fair i commented this based on the beginning part of the podcast and what you guys said last week.
Having watched the whole thing I will say that you guys did give him the credit that i accused you of not giving. So I apologise for my hasty comment 🙏
No to Conte!
