    Summary:
    1. Right body, right mind: If you take care of your body you take care of your mind, a little bit of exercise is helpful, makes you more functional, sleep at least 7-8 hours it affects efficiency directly rest is important, eating well provides long-lasting energy.
    2. Right environment: Setup the workplace before working, try white noise and avoid lyrical music, have tea or water while studying.
    3. Right work: Make sure you are being efficient and focused, Pomodoro technique (25 mins work and 5 mins rest four times before taking a long break or make your own time), continuous block of study makes you tired so setting a timer is helpful, writing tasks/goals before starting.

For weeks, all I would do was school work day in and day out because I have to work harder than everyone else. I'm genuinely sure that I'm the least intelligent person in all of my AP classes. It also doesn't help that I have more family issues at home than you normally would and thus I have depression and social anxiety. It's like I'm trying to figure out 10 things at once. My daily Planner has the following Row headers and the column headers respectively:

    ------------------------------------
    (1) Task description (2) Status (3) Next Follow-UP (4) Comment at EOD (5) Blockers
What I have learnt from your video is that there is no harm making mistakes, but we should readily admit it. It's is the most easiest to cheat ourself and present a goodie goodie picture of our life to ourself. I am sharing you to acknowledge the fact that your videos are amking such a great difference. Hi john, i agree with most of the things you said in the video, except the 8 hour sleep,
8 hour sleep is a myth, because everyone's body functions at different rates of rest
i am also a Computer Science student at a Cal State University, and i also follow the 25 minute + 5 minute rest technique, and have been following it for the last 2 years, and it's definitely effective, but i only sleep around 6 hours to 6h30m per night, and i feel well rested when i wake up, and i can study and get working straight away,
not just me, some of my class mates who have a job get less than 7 hours of sleep, yet they are doing well in class
I guess, what i am trying to say is that 8 hours is a recommended, however not necessary, everyone's body functions at a different sleep balance

man I tried studying with jazz or classic without lyrics but I would just get so bored, rap (xxx) that's loud and obnoxious is what helps me honestly, also makes me more intent on work cause the music keeps my brain busy, but I mean i guess it's different for each person

My cousin can focus well while listening to rock, rap. He told me that it kept him from being sleepy :))) He also prefer to study in noisy places. I have no ideas :)))
On the other hands, i cannot focus while listening to these
I prefer classical, jazz and white noises :)))

Please make a video on how to study as a student athlete. Like I be coming out of practice at 6, and I got like 3 hours to do everything (cleaning, cook, eat, recovery session, shower etc) before its time to sleep at 9 to get 8 hours of sleep and wake up 5AM. By the time I finish all my chores I literally have an hour or 30 minutes to study

Morappabro Videos Same, I have team training to 10pm at night, and by the time I get home shower, stretch and foam roll, I seriously have no time to study cuz I need to wake up at 5.30am the next day to go to school (thats like 6 hours of sleep, rip grades). But I just study on rest days so 2x week and maybe a little bit on the weekends

another tip, instead of whitenoise or classical music, this genre called post-rock is also great, least for me it zones out the music after a while, and lets me focus completely on my work. But it's also great music to listen to in your breaks ;) (its sort of atmospheric instrumental rock )
