Very helpful. I got one for Christmas and didn’t spend the time I should reading the instructions. Thanks for doing it for me as there were a couple of features you pointed out I did not realize it had. Now I like it even better!

I just bought one at Sam's this week, (12/24/2022) on sale for $31. Great display, one of my fav new gadgets. It looks like they made some minor changes, the light and history buttons are on the front now & maybe the display has changed slightly.

Thanks for a good overview of this product. I bought one today - but I didn't find this video until after I tore apart the clamshell. One note: I somehow managed to have the remote unit's readings displayed as if it was an "extra" sensor, instead of on the "outdoor" display. If that happens, just remove the batteries from the outdoor sensor, unplug the indoor unit, and start again.

I have a newer version of Lacrosse with WiFi 74443 I like it but it loses weather data at night even with Wi-Fi on.

You should have waited at least an hour for temp and humidity to stabilize, but in my experience lacrosse is usually very inaccurate, which is probably why they never tell you any specifications for their accuracy, but acurite actually does.

I ask you just one question. What are the specifications of the power supply?
I know it's 5v, but I don't know how many mA (milliamps) it has, but I think it only supports up to 120v.
I ask this because I bought a unit but the voltage in my country is 220 and I have several 5 volt sources to see if any would work.

      OK.............
I was sent one from USA and I couldn't get the 5v plug to work on my power(240v), so it was running on batteries.
Then I bought an Australian model (same as) and it came with a USB cable and it worked brilliantly, so I took the US 5v plug down to an electrical place and they made it into a USB plug.
      It solved the problem.

How did you get the barometer to stay displayed all the time?

On my unit, barometric pressure is always displayed on the upper left of the unit.
