Hey guys and gals, this newest A30 laser from Atomstack is really impressive. It was really easy to put together and everything worked almost perfectly. I really have nothing negative to say about this machine but if I had to pick one, it would probably be setting up the camera as it was a little time consuming and the directions were different than what Lightburn told me to do. But I followed the lightburn instructions and that worked better. Overall though, this machine and all accessories are fantastic! Enjoy and I’ll see you all in the next one 👍🏻

Hi, I have got the x30 pro model and I was looking for marking on rubber animal tags, so do you think it was a good choice of this machine? And it could work on the rubber surface? I have used lightburne but it seems i make something wrong, any job I give play the machine work but laser not affect any surface. What do you think is wrong with it? @ArtByAdrock

I would like to thank you for your videos. I’ve recently started to learn my Ray5 10w laser. Your videos have been very informative. Even though I have blindly tried a few things even my failures have given me a new perspective and more ideas. I’m genuinely excited to see what I can do with entry level laser. Thanks a million.

Between laser CNC, machining CNC, and 3D printing it is just unbelievable what is available to hobbyists now!
I love the engraved stone. Probably all materials are hazardous, but especially take care with ventilation/PPE when turning stone into fine particulates!

Suggestion: When you are cutting thick stock, you want to set the focus to be at the CENTER of the material. i.e. If your material is 5mm thick, you want to set the laser focus as though it is 2.5mm thick. If you notice your 5mm poplar cut, the cut became wider and wider as it cut down as your laser beam began to diverge. As it diverged, the "apparent" power was less and less. So, your optimum focal point should be 2.5mm *below* the top surface. It will begin the cut at a less-than-optimal focus, moving into optimal focus and then to less than optimal at the bottom. By focusing on the surface of the material it goes from optimal to less-than-optimal to ugly.

Do you think it would engrave concrete?

So does it actually engrave the metal or is it a coating?
