I know in some countries in the past a lower level of a structure was used to house animals and the upper level was the living area of the structure.

one of the 'fun' parts of my current build is making a model of a game i'm playing where the insides of a building don't match up at all with the outsides.
in the game world there are no constraints to make them match because it just works fine for game play, yeah its lazy game design but then it wasnt ever expected anyone would want to make a rl model
i've manage to solve the main issue of getting the outside building, a simple rectangle, to match up with its much larger L shape interior,
fortunately there are a couple of buildings i can extend into so the outside one becomes an L shape without altering the look of the ingame layout.
its a different kind of puzzle doing this rather than building something from scratch as i'm trying to keep it looking like the game,
