My desktop is 10 years old, using windows 10 and just recently starting running very slow. This is excellent beginners info.

Sir, if it has a good processor, we can put it to good use one way or the other. It might not be power efficient though. Those days processors were 65nm and now they are 14nm and under. Power savings are significant if we keep it on for long hours.
