I straight away noticed the framerate increased but the sharpness disappeared and I can no longer read the dashboard info when using the cockpit wheel or helmet view on a sony 4k tv I need to test more but my G29 was clipping like crazy even with the gain turned down to 58 although I like how the feedback was constant all lap, the road bump feedback on straights will send you into the barriers now if ya not careful but thats how it should be I suppose Not sure if its new but there's now a search option on the server browser but still no sign of private servers 🤔

You have to first flick the switch to PS3 then plug it into a laptop or PC, goto thrustmasters website and download the "console" for it, you'll find full instructions there but basically you run the thrustmaster program then hit the check for update button and it dose it for you...simply switch it back to ps4 and plug it back into your console.......I did mine the other week and it made a huge difference, the game now has a warning for you to do it Chris :)
Force Feedback changes for a more suited feel on console maked the FFB worse... I'm also on a t150 ..and now it to much canned....on pre patch with settings on Thrustmaster control panel on a PC and then the in-game settings it was sublime, now it's really garbage and GT sport like. My settings are now Gain 55% Min Force 5% Damping 0% Road effects 0% And still to much canned, but "playable" .. hopefully they revert back to the pre patch FFB
My settings gain 70% min force 5% Damping 100% road effect 50 % I like a heavy feel to it and like the new FFB much better than the old, I found over steer and under steer a little too muted with the original and kerbs and bumps in the tracks didn't come through at all, I could see the car bouncing around on streen but nothing through FFB. It's all subjective though and I do agree with GT sport being a bit garbage on FFB :)
@@hereward1971 did you change also FFB settings in the Pc's Trusthmaster control panel? That affects on ACC console versions and was needed to adjust to have a sublime FFB in prepatch... Now its a lot worse with the FFB changes of 1.03 to a more "suited" feel on consoles... My wheel is utterly hard at 70..,but I have still my FFB setting from the control panel as I set in prepatch, that made I got to lower gain to 55 in-game and effects to 0% (BTW,Kunos recommend not to exceed 20% in road effects) My pre patch settings in-game were Gain 85% Min force 5% Damping 100% Road effects 15% On PC's Thrustmaster control panel; Overall strength of all forces: 80% Constant: 90% Periodic: 100% Spring: 20% Damper: 100%
@@cedric9608 I did change them on the PC console to a setup recommended for R factor but from what I remember it set spring and damper to 0% and just destroyed the feel in ACC, I then returned them to standard and increased overall to max.......clipping city! So I reverted back to normal and just worked with it in ACC. It's not perfect with the new patch but there is a lot more info coming back through it now. The biggest thing I want to come through is loss of traction, (in order of importance) when you lose the back or the front, next is weight shift then road surface. getting the balance right and those different forces to be distinct from each other is key for me, It's not there yet but it's closer, I may have to delve back into the pc console to tune the feeling more.
Good question, only thing I've seen is the editor mode in saved replays, maybe theres an option if you view race in online mode instead of selecting race?
Hey I've complained to 505 I literally can't believe what they've done! The game looks horrific, literally it's now after the update so blurry I literally can't play it I had to turn it off! I haven't watched your vid yet I will now! The steering felt heavier but I only did a lap and as I said had to turn it off! God I hope they sort this out asap or I can't play it. Just watching for video now, are you finding the graphics are better? Like I said for me their appauling on my PS4 PRO! The resolution is like 500p!
Initialy it looked ok because the frame rate was higher, I've just done another video and yeah it's bad but I turned supersampling off and had it in 1080 and the frame rate droped back to normal but stuff was much sharper, there was an initial lap of texture pop in but then that cleared but the blury track and cars was fixed. I'm just uploading a vid now to show it and I've posted on there twitter feed. please let me know if it cures yours?

But ya thanks that's really interesting to know, about the texture pop in after a lap or two! I'll give that a try as I didn't really give it much of a chance to load as I said I did one lap and turned it off as it kinda made me dizzy!. I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow.

I returned the game as broken. I got a full refund. I'm not sure why people keep tolerating developers that release unfinished games. We should be getting paid to test these games instead we are made to pay for. Stop accepting this behaviour from developers, unless you want it to get worse. So many dumb sheep with no self control. These companies are laughing at us right now. They can sell us a broken product and don't tell us when it will be fixed or don't bother fixing it at all. It's impossible to speak to the developer. The publishers say it's nothing to do with them even though they are happy to make money from it and same with PLAYSTATION. I can't support a company that operate like that. So I won't be buy8ng another playstation and these companies need taking to court.✌🏼

@@Gusouza1 No sorry I thought yoy meant the normal servers, no competition servers and no private lobbys. Theres only quick match, server browser and challenges available at present. But that stuff is controlled server side so I think they pulled it while they sort out the graphics problem for the pro
can't confirm that but its higher than it was but super blury, turn super sampling off and frame rate returns to normal but blur goes, just look at the objects in the far distance on the new video I put up you'll see it straight away :)

PC is for nerds, and there isn’t any reason a serious sim can’t be made for console other than the fact the fan base that are into “serious” racing games are typically not playing on console. PC fans are cancer, imaging judging someone by their choice in gaming console.

For the ps4 pro players with a 4K TV, change the resolution to 1080p, problem solved "in most cases"

Is the CP server working for you after the update? For me it says there is no server available in my region(Germany).
I have no problem finding servers in all regions, I'm in UK
