    To-date there are 15 undeafeted male boxers and only 1 8-division world champion and may never be replicated again. The GOAT boxer of our generation.

    • @user-sg8kq7ii3y
      @user-sg8kq7ii3y Před 10 měsíci +15

      Here's something to think about for all you people who ALWAYS like to mention Manny's "8 division champion". It would have been MORE DIFFICULT for Manny to STAY in one division and to stay undefeated. He HAD to move up in divisions because his body was growing. So moving up was the EASIER thing to do. Manny got KO'd TWICE as a flyweight, and had he stayed in that weight, he would have gotten KO'd again.
      I am saying this because too many people like to make it sound that winning 8 division championships is more difficult than staying in one division, and winning titles in just one division. It isn't. For Manny, staying in just one or two divisions would have been MUCH MORE DIFFICULT (if not impossible) than winning titles in 8 divisions. You understand?

    • @DeleLang
      @DeleLang Před 10 měsíci +303

      @@user-sg8kq7ii3y you're a funny guy. He dominated each division and weight class, unified belts for each division, defeated the top guys of each division and you are saying its easier to move up? He moved up because there were no more opponents to confront. The only way is up not stay. Do you know why there are weight classes? It is to protect the boxers and because for every pound of weight corresponds to an exponential power spike in power. It was very dangerous for manny to move weight classes given the fact he is a natural featherweight and you are saying its easier to move up than stay? Your logic is laughable. Name me undeafeted boxers, I can name you 15 of them and Rocky Marciano was the best, a heavy weight who never dodged an opponent. Name me a 8 division world champ, that is only 1 boxer, Manny Pacman. Case closed.

      @@user-sg8kq7ii3yliterally no one in the boxing world thinks this way. Just shows how much of a causal you are.
      Going up weight divisions means changes in weight, power and speed that you must confront with. If it was so easy, there’d be more people doing it.
      Go back to school nga. Should have never left.

    • @user-sg8kq7ii3y
      @user-sg8kq7ii3y Před 10 měsíci +7

      @@DeleLang Manny is NOT a natural featherweight!🤣. Manny said it himself that his comfortable weight is 140.
      Also, Manny started as a pro at 16 years of age, as a 108 pounder, so OF COURSE he could move up easier than other fighters who start their pro careers later, and/or who are lighter in weight. Heck, I was barely 100-lbs as a freshman in high school, and WITHOUT EVEN TRYING to gain weight, I was about 160-lbs by the time I was a senior. So gaining weight is a natural progression as one gets older.
      I'm not taking anything away from Manny because he is a GREAT FIGHTER. However, one CANNOT use his "8 division championships" as justification as to why he's the best because it's not fair to heavier fighters. Do you really expect a heavyweight, like George Foreman, who weighed 260-lbs, to drop down 7 division and fight at 140-lbs in the super lightweight division? It's MUCH harder for a big fighter, to lose weight as he gets older, and to drop down in divisions to win multiple titles.
      Manny started as a very small fighter, at a young age, so him gaining weight, and progressing up the divisions is MUCH easier than for fighters such as Foreman, Tyson, Bowe, Lennox Lewis, etc. to drop down.

And since I'm not sure of your familiarity with MMA rules, a KO is someone out cold, a TKO is someone who just can't continue... so the importance seems sort of inversed between MMA & boxing, hence an MMA fan being confused why it wasn't a "better" KO than just a slightly "less" TKO, when it sounds like a TKO is the "better" result in boxing.

      For i watched both Manny And Floyd’s Fight, (Edit:) I Think Floyd Was Using His Brain, He Was Not Hasty, He Was Patient & Avoiding The Punches Of Manny For Neither 2 of them Tries I Mean Manny Tries To Knock Floyd Many Time’s But Since Floyd Uses His Brain, He’s Avoiding The Land Punches & It’s Accuracy.. that Lower ‘s Manny’s Chances of Winning, Also that’s the chance of Floyd Win By Just Doing the ”Accurate Hit”, “Doesn’t Matter If Knock Or Not as long as it “Land’s The Punches” that’s a Win, even though Floyd Can Also Knock Many Out He’s Not Taking That Chance(maybe since he’s that careful maybe if he saw a spot to hit but there’s none?.. so maybe??) If Just If Both of them actually Just Taken Their Chances the fight would be Legendary Great & People Would be Entertain But I Think Floyd Is Just Very Careful There & din’t get their fan The Entertainment they want to see including me but for what i see just as long as he’s careful & win it, i mean in the boring way that’s that, for what i also see it may be the boring fight that i see in the Century in the History as other’s, That’s Also A Win Right There.. Nothing, It’s Just The Comment’s Here, Boasting defending their champion’s that doesn’t even Understand the Champion’s Themselves Is Funny... well “I Could Be Wrong, Then You Can Correct Me Freely” Rather If Chance’s are ‘Trashing’ me for saying such as such 😄😄😄..

    Modern day Jack Dempsey in the lighter weight divisions. They think it’s the sheer size of his calves. But Tank Davis with his small calves has debunked that myth. It’s the way Pac uses his footwork and catapult his punches that made him so dynamic and efficient. That’s why he can throw impressive volumes, and throw with power even when he’s not planted (always bouncing). He looks wild, but study closer, and there’s method to his chaos. What a legend!
