- You get the best of both worlds! We use biology to tell us about living organisms, and physics to tell us about the way things move, but did you know we can combine them to find new answers? Biophysics, a form of medical physics, combines the power of biology and physics to help us better understand biological phenomena.
We offer a wide range of programs at UVU, including a biophysics program! Check us out to see if we have the program for you.

is there any book to learn bio-physics very deeply, would you recommend one? iam good at physics but bad at memorising biology
The book I use for this instructors Biophysics class is Philip Nelson’s “Biophysics: Energy, Information, Life.” It’s not a perfect book, but it is the best he found so far. It includes lots of useful analogies to simplify and clarify complicated systems.
According to Dustin, the best books for “memorizing biology,” as the commenter says, are going to be biology books. All the Biophysics books he has seen zoom in on a few biological systems to explain the physics, but they don’t have the breadth of concepts that would be necessary to learn biology itself.
DUSTINNNNNNN LETS GOOOOOOOOO
Yeah dustin woooo
