Definitely a lot to take away from this experience in a positive light. Certainly, having patience, grace and a pathway to forgiveness are key. It’s not easy given that the internet has no real culture for healthy communication, like somehow you can say whatever you want here that you wouldn’t say in public.

I've been listening to all of the pods & have really been enjoying it so far. Really loved the Drawing Board debut especially.
That said, as an outsider hearing the story, he didn't sound like he was jumping you or being angry, just asking a question about who the post was directed at or about. Unless there is something missing from the retelling of that initial comment, then to me it could be something as simple as a matter of interpretation, then it went south very quickly obviously. Both sides get their feelings hurt, then both sides go on the attack, so it stops being about whatever the actual conversation was about & turns into a game of one-upsmanship when it never needed to.
It is incredibly easy to misread tone in internet posts. I have done it many times myself where I thought someone was talking shit but they were actually joking. This is why I pretty much only talk to people I actually know online now.
