Tony Stark, Iron Man, and his Iron Man armor, is one of the most aesthetically interesting aspects of the MCU. When Marvel introduced the character, they probably couldn’t foresee every Iron Man suit, Iron Man costume, and Iron Man all suits and Iron Man all armors that would arise during the evolution of Iron Man throughout Iron Man history. Iron Man evolution is marked by hardware upgrades, and every time we see an Iron Man suit up scene, all Iron Man suit ups are showcases for all Iron Man armors.
Some of the Iron Man best scenes in any clip compilation will be suit up scenes, and it’s always fun to see how Robert Downey Jr. will ensconce himself in armor next. When it comes to Iron Man, all armors are special, then and now, and even more during Avengers Infinity War. From the first trailer, the world has been in awe of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the new Iron Man armor is one of the most intriguing aspects of the film. We don’t know what the future has in store for the invincible Iron Man, but one thing is for sure: Clothes don’t make the Iron Man.

Mark 3 is my favorite suit. In the first Iron Man he looked so badass in that suit. Ever since Disney took over, iron mans suits have gotten less and less badass. Something that made the mark 3 so badass was how realistic and gritty it was everytime he took a step we heard it and everytime he moved his arm or head, we could hear clicking noises and other mechanical sounds.

Adam Jones Yes, there was nanotech in Black Panther, but Tony was developing this suit before that. Also, the nanobots are used for more than just storing the suit, it's also used for shapeshifting new weapons and defenses into existence.
HazardMan 117 There's no difinitive answer but lets not forget infinity war takes place around 2 years after black panther so it could be that its the wakandan tech with 2 years of Tony's Innovativeness and testing of new ideas. Maybe Tony was on the verge of discovering nanotech but wakanda sharing its resources defo helped imo

You Just Had Some Snappy Dialogues And The Other Armors Has Names !
The MK42 armor still exists as of Spiderman Homecoming. When vulture boards the Stark Industries plane toward the end of Spiderman Homecoming, you can see the MK42 chest plate in the background for about a second. This doesn't mean that the armor still exists, as the plane did crash only minutes later, but it does mean that it wasn't actually destroyed in Iron Man 3 when it self-destructed to kill the Mandarin.

The Infinity War armor is my favorite, that shit is crazy, but why hasn't War Machine gotten a single upgrade since Iron Man 2?
He has, he's got the War Machine mark 2/Iron Patriot armor in Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron, War Machine Mark 3, used in Civil War, and the War Machine Mark 4, used in Infinity War. (Which, in my opinion, is the most badsss)
