Great video once again!! Just so other people know, for the lift segment, you have a few seconds to kill the enemy before the left stops. If Leon doesn’t say anything, you are good!

I loved this platinum. Since I had to do multiple runs, i wore a specific outfit for that run, so i wouldn’t forget what trophies i was going for, helped out a lot

I also got the plat before the handcannon. It was a fun plat, but I dont think it was super difficult. You've definitely covered way harder games, but im a bit biased, im an RE fanboy. Great video brother!

Gotta say, getting all achievements on RE4 was such a experience, especially professional 😂😂 GG man! You did great🎉 I did Profesional S+ straight up (just don't lol) but luckily, you get all the S+ achievements and unlocks at once.

For the lift it’s possible to have one jump on if you can immediately kill them before Leon does his dialogue about the lift stopping. Def not easy but if you’re lucky enough to be already aiming a shotgun( or even infinite launcher)

This platinum trophy is super hard for a casual gamer like me. But when I finally get it, it's so satisfied and overall journey is very enjoyable.
The hardest one definitely the shooting range. Also, the charms I got after all that hardwork is the same one I got before. I hate the gacha system so much.

I combined my minimalist, frugalist, and silent stranger on assisted the other day. It stunk mostly because I kept running low on ammo.
It was a difficult platinum while it lasted, but now you can buy exclusive upgrade tickets with money and laugh your way to the platinum. What did we get from this? The true platinum is the friends we made along the way. (Also that Capcom really loves to nickel and dime).
Great highlights. I think the remake is a good game but don't see it replacing the original for me, so I shelved it after getting S+ Pro and I'm happy with the time I spent with it, minus some issues that I'm sure nobody cares to hear it.
BTW 260 saves? HOoly shit! thats like a save every 4 minutes.

Depends what playthrough it is. Save count carries over for ng+ for whatever dumb reason.

after i earnt the platinum i went back to do s+ professional with no bonus items, ashley armor or anything. it was fun, all in all i spent 200 hrs on the game in 2 weeks lol. addict.
Yeah I was thinking of doing the same thing after my platinum. But I’ve moved onto other re platinums. RE4 remake reignited my love for RE games.

Out of all of the achievements, the shooting range was the hardest for me. I suck at them, straight up. I didnt do it for the evil within either lol

I platinumed it and it was amazing and a great time! it took me 90 hours to get and I loved it, every resident evil game platinum is a blast to get.
Yeah after platinuming RE4 remake(before the mercenaries hand cannon freebie), I got motivated to buy all the RE games and platinum them all! It’s been a while since I’ve played some but hell, I platinumed the OG Remake 1, Revelations 2, now I need one more for RE2 remake, then onto the next!
The only thing stopping me from getting the platinum on re8 is the legendary cowboy trophy

Are you going to do the dlc? For me it was literally one of the best pieces of downloadable content ive ever played and it only took me 2 days to get all of the achievements.
After I had got it, I played extra plathrough to get the ear cats so I get my revenge using all weapons😆🏆..

Need the S++ with every character on mercenaries now
I got the Trophies for Beating the Game on Standard & Hardcore with a S+ by playing it on Professional on NG with a S+. Get this, I died during the Jet Ski Section resulting me to Start at the beginning of Chapter 15 before the Miltary Island fight with Mike Helping you all over again because that's where I made my Last and Final Save because it doesn't just require to beat the game in 5:30 but you have to save less than 15 times because there are no autosaves.
I had the same situation. My 15th save was at the merchant before the Mike helicopter sections. The best I could do was 5:35m. Was so bummed out because I put so many hours into trying to get my S+ rank. Then I watched some videos on shortcuts and one is the lazer before you rescue Ashley the last time. If you time it right and stand in front of that lazer before a Novistador attacks, the attack will push you past lazer and you just have to heal quickly and run to door. Skipping that section saved me 5 min and I eventually make it with 5:29mim and 30 seconds. Was probably one of the most challenging things I’ve done in a video game but it felt great once I accomplished it

I thought you could get back to the depths when you go to get the golden egg it's the room you drop down to the depths in. I never tried to go back down I just assumed you could drop down again

Carcinogen kinda explained why its so hard this game. They purposely nerfed leons aiming with more sway and bloom and bullet travel time
I didn't do standard s+, I went straight to hardcore s+ to get the chicken hat, then got the professional s+ to get the cat ears for infinite ammo, then did new game professional without bonus weapons by using the cat ears to give all the guns infinite ammo, including the broken butterfly.
Why did you do hardcore s+ and prof s+ when prof s+ gives both trophies for standard and hardcore
@@DUTCHGAMERNL2 Because Hardcore S+ gives you the Chicken Hat, which halves all damage to you.

S+ on pro is not required for platinum. I don't say this to make you feel stupid but It honestly shocks me how many people got this confused. The amount of people i've seen that thought this astounds me

You could have unlocked the infinite ammo gun with the rocket launcher easy before the update. This was the easy part the hard part was actually beating the speedrun with it
I sacrificed the chicken hat for the cat ears - congrats on platinuming one of the hardest RE games to date.
during my live streams so many people were saying they wanted to go the cat ears method but that just seemed so much less appealing. S+ on pro would've been so stressful
sick of game companies either shipping games as easy palts or patching them to make them easier
This game is so fuckin good, I wouldn't mind play it like 100 times, just for experimenting with different weapons and different strategies each run. 😎👍

Hey Matt, if you ever come back to RE4 Remake and collect all the trophies for Separate Ways DLC, you may be pleasantly surprised that you’ll have to S+ Professional mode on Separate Ways unlike Base Game
I'm very excited to make a video showcasing the DLC for that very reason!

I used the mercenaries so i could platinum faster cause i had to study for a test, but now I'm playing on professional to unlock it again, cause I'm crazy, and the game is super fun.
Same and it was triggering me that that was my last challenge and achievement to get in order to get 100 percent even tho I had handconnon from mercenaries 😂
