About the silk vs satin thing.
Silk is a fiber and satin is a weave. Silk pillowcase are generally made with a satin weave, which is what makes it shiny. Satin pillowcases that aren't made from silk are usually made from polyester or a polyester blend.
So instead the question should be "silk satin or polyester satin"

Curlsmith really is undefeated. While I’ve liked other products, Curlsmith’s are the only ones I’ve LOVED. Night and day difference after first use, and the fact that they’re all natural🥰✨ Smell is great too!

Marshalls in my city is always stocked on dippity doo. The gel, conditioner, shampoo, mousse etc.. nobody really purchases them here so luckily I was able to try all the stylers.

I agree about spray bottles for leave ins, they are a pain but I prefer the lightweight leave in that come in the spray bottles so to combat it, I just spray it in my hands.

You should try the African pride moisture miracle line! The foam, gel and cream gel are all amazing products! I think they would work well in your hair 🤩

I swear I have most of the products you listed because of you! Your recommendations are always on point for me even though we have different hair textures etc.
Matcha green tea mask is still my favorite deep conditioner after three years and haven’t found anything that I’ve loved more 🥰 I do want to try Twist and Tre Luxe products because I’ve always heard great things about them. And want to try the curlsmith fragrance free line. I’ve like the blue label products from curlsmith and they’ve been great. Great video as always! You’ve definitely guided me all these years 🙏🏼

I love Curlsmith ingredients, the deep conditioners are definitely my favorites but unfortunately the stylers don’t give any hold. I so jealous of people who can make the stylers work because I have tried everything! Love the brand! Wish I could use only them!

I have to say that the As I Am Long and Lux Pomegranate and Passion Fruit Co-Wash is amazing! I don’t care for the coconut one, but the Pomegranate go wash really cleanses and smells like heaven in a jar.

My fav combo at the moment is the curlsmith moisture memory reactivator and the dippidy do curls gelee. I get a good bit of moisture and good hold. Especially since I live in a humid area.

This is a great video! I'm glad someone brought up the spray leave in conditioners, it seems they are becoming more popular but like Bianca I would rather a cream I can put in my hands. Curl Smith is a good brand and I LOVE the smell of their products BUT they are expensive . I'm looking for affordable products for low porosity hair, if anyone has recommendations, let me know! AlSO for the Gel cream products, is that like a two in one and I don't have to layer another product?
Hi! Some can use ceam-gel as a one and done, but some still need a harder hold gel over top. Honestly, the best affordable gel for my low porosity hair is homemade flaxseed gel. Its basically unbeatable for the price and you can always top it with a harder hold gel if needed. Hope this helps!

Dippity do has been my go-to since I bought it years ago per your recommendation. The smell, the color, the shine, the build ability. Everytime I go to Marshall’s/TJ maxx, I buy at least 2-3 at a time, if it ever disappears I don’t know what I’ll do 😂
I still can't decide if I want the Dyson or the Curlsmith blow dryer. Nobody makes a real decision and only picks with a comparison of the price but I want to know product to product, specs, quality, which one is the better blow dryer. The science of it and everything. We already knoe the price difference, we could Google that ourselves.
Loved the battles! I think i suggested Curlsmith vs. Curlsmith. I would like to see NYM Curl Talk Hard Hold Gel vs. Curlsmith Shine Gel. Or Dippity Doo.... the battle of the drugstore strong hold gels!
I don’t love the results I get from curlsmith gel. My favorite gel right now is Camille Rose. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I can’t stop using it. Great results and definition and volume!

Girl, yesterday I used both the in shower style fixer and the dippity do lol. Its just that in shower sf dries my hair out a little and is sticky, the dippity do helps even it out

Great video, Bianca! Between Pattern Beauty Strong Hold Gel and Curlsmith In Shower Style Fixer, I would go with Pattern Beauty, even though I do own both. I remember when you used CurlKeeper.
I tried the Curlsmith co-wash and noticed a lot more hair loss in the shower when I used it...
Have been hesitant towards using their products b/c of it.
Using Giovanni 50/50 shampoo and conditioner and the weightless leave in. Good results and the cost is good.
24oz of the weightless leave in for $20 is a steal compared to 16 oz @ 40$ for curlsmith products.
Giovanni is one of the best dupes for natural hair care.
I actually just use the weightless air dry cream and hold me softly together from curlsmith lol I love both of those products for my hair. Very soft hold which i prefer for my curls. So interesting to see the different combinations though.

LUS has a brush that's a detangling brush and styling brush all in one. Should give it a try 👍
I have it and I just wish the bristles were a little longer because it takes me twice as long to get through all my hair than my Conair paddle brush.
@@AlizMari23 I can definitely see that being an issue for some. My hair is a bit more thinner so I have no issues with it but I can see thicker curls needing stronger longer bristles like you say.

I just started using curl smith and OMG!!! I wish I spent the money before lol. It’s such an amazing product for curly hair. Especially my type of hair is 3b were we need more gel base products for our hair to thrive! Finally got products that work! 😃
Only difference is I let my hair air dry and still got the hold and moisture lock I’ve been Loki g for. Just amazing products!

lol that you don't like spray bottles because I don't even like spray dry shampoo I'm so old school I use cocoa powder mixed with the Airspun face powder or when traveling just the Air Spun Face Powder. I put it on with a fluffy face powder brush and work it through my hair with my fingers, but I have wavy 2B/2C curls that are dark brown and sometimes I get red lowlights and it works great with no light cast from the powder if you work at it.
I have straight hair(my hair is wavy in my pic because I put a braid in also my hair is growing out the sun in I put) I love watching curly hair things lol. I don’t do the things cuz I have straight hair.I use the ogx coconut miracle oil shampoo and conditioner then after the shower the ogx coconut miracle oil.Then I blow dry my hair because I don’t like to wait 3 hours for it to air dry(it blow dries in 10 min)
I just realized how many products I need to try. But this helped alot to barrow it down. Thank you!

Sadly I’m one of the curl friends who tried the NYM Matcha Apple Blossom Deep Conditioner & it wasn’t a great match for my hair. 😢 Personally would have choose the Curlsmith mask or Brigeo’s Superfoods over NYM’s. We need a favorites list from you! Maybe top 3 products in each category.
