    Your impression is not wrong. The lanes in Sydney are narrow where there were fewer of them initially. Due to increased traffic more lanes have been created within the same overall road widths or only slightly widened road.

      Oh wow, that's really interesting. I thought I was probably just imagining it. Thanks for the info.

    I really enjoyed part 2, pity you missed the new 12 stall superchargers near Heatherbrae in Raymond Terrace, just amazing. Thank you again.

    Great video Lee, really enjoy the road trips. I recall from one of your previous videos that people were commenting on your audio, I’m watching on my iPad with AirPods and while looking at you on the left of screen, your voice is in my right ear (vice versa for your wife) - bit trippy at first because when you’re showing the internal camera facing out, the audio matches, but once you switch back to the dash cam facing the two of you, the audio flips back to opposite. Given the intros you do for people with different abilities, the main issue would be if someone has a hearing issue in 1 ear. Your vocals levels will end up being differing volumes or worse, you may miss part of the conversation if you have hearing loss on 1 side. I think you just need to combine both audio tracks so that they’re stereo, not left or right channel bias. The most noticeable time is around your charging stop at Cassegrain. Hope this helps.

      Also, when you switched seats, the audio flips again so it must just be that you’ve got 2 mics but you’re putting the mono track on the each side?? (Sorry, I’m not an audio guy)

      @chris_nottle Před měsícem

      Another example is at 1:03:00 (summary and destination), if I take my right ear bud out I get no audio while your talking because your vocals are only on that side.

      Thanks Chris, I'll have to have a closer look at what is going on as you're the second person to notice this. It's odd as I check the audio via speakers and headphones on my computer and it doesn't do that on the computer.

      @@notacarguy_au if it helps, I was on an M1 iPad Air with v2 AirPods Pro’s. Dunno but it was definitely separating each of you exclusively on left or right channels. But it was most noticeable for me from your Cassegrain stop onwards.

      @@notacarguy_au Also, I just tested on my Mac Pro with some Bluetooth Aeropex induction headphones (to eliminate and funky Apple audio stuff) and exactly the same, you're on the 1 side and your wife is on the other. It does blend in most of the video, but when I tested from 1:03:00 onwards, you're only on the right channel until the blooper reel.

    Hi there. At the Coffs Harbour Super charger where you were confused with the directions you actually crossed a double white line to turn into the super charger so that is why the navigation was sending you around the other way. It wont instruct you to do something illegal. :-)

      @notacarguy_au  Před měsícem +1

      I would argue that it's "suggested" some rather interesting suggestions over time that may disagree with your last line. 🤣

    Interesting observation about Ute’s. If you had asked me 20 or more years ago who I thought the worst drivers were, it would have been taxi drivers. But those days have long gone, now it’s trade Utes and the more powerful the Ute the worse they behave.

  • @SydneyEV

    Strange how the navigation took you to the slower older Superchargers at Cassegrain, when in Thrumster, about 2 km away has the new V3 chargers (12 of them) good for 250Kw and next to a shopping centre. The winery one, takes you to the main entrance of the winery where the chargers are, but you found the "loading zone" entry which is the one everyone uses and is open 24 hrs a day. also, there was a blue sign on that roundabout exit saying charging ahead. also, did the Motel you stayed at have guest EV charging? and as for utes, NSW and Sydney is the home of the Great Ute Grad Prix. all ute driver think thy are driving race cars and in a race every minute of every day where speed limits and red lights are only mear suggestions to them

    • @notacarguy_au
      @notacarguy_au  Před měsícem

      That is odd that it sent us there.
      We didn't have charging at our motel. But there was an DRSL just down the road that had a couple of chargers so we had dinner there that night to top up a bit.
      "Mear suggestions" reminds me of a South African mate who got pulled over for speed in the US. When the cop asked them if they had speeding laws in SA my mate responded "Their more like guidelines really". 🤣
