- Today we tune my 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0L with Madness Autowork’s ECU AutoFlash Module! While not a HP adding tune, this ECU flash increases throttle response, shift times and much more giving you an even more fun and enjoyable experience while driving your Giulia! Enjoy this video as I show you the install process, review its performance gains and ultimately let you know whether or not this unit is worth it.
Thanks for watching and enjoy the video!

Great explanation, Madness is top notch, great people. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for making this video! Great content. We appreciate you
Of course!
I got this same tune one month ago, it’s wonderful when shifting down the gears, it gives you a faster response!
Great content fam
Very nice ,love the car.
So there’s versions to this ecu flash I seen a version 2 on the Madness website, what would that improve?
The other version in more impactful as it actually will effect hp outputs and will rework the ECU more than this one does, so that will be more of your classic tune, where this is just a kind of OEM+ add on
Do you have a website link for the tune box..?
Thanks..👍
Check the description😁
Does the AutoFlash Module remove the top speed restriction? (the Giulia is limited to 150 mph, it's capable - stock - of achieving at least 160-165 mph)
I’m not entirely sure, but I believe it does, don’t quote me on that lol
Did you say 116mph top speed? Where are you located, and what was the speed rating on your stock tires?
Top speed is 160mph and I had tires rated for about 150mph
The linger at higher Rpms when taking the foot off the accelerator always got to me.
Elaborate ??
Because its a track car. Sorry its not a BMW or Mercedes lol. Im a racer so i love car just about the way it is.
Its supposed to do that. If you go to the track, you want to hang the RPM while going around a corner rather than up shifting, then having to down shift again mid corner or on exit (usually too late).
Exactly
Can we use these maps on multiple Giulia Or once this is used on 1 car it will be reused on the same every time ??
Unfortunately it is VIN locking, so it can only be used on one Giulia
Do you have to remove the tune for service?
No! That’s a nice perk about this is it isn’t dealer traceable so no need to be concerned about servicing the car!
Did alfa ever add carplay to the 2017?
Not to the 2017 model, however 2020+ models have it standard
Apple play is really simple to install after. I did in my Stelvio and tool only about 20min. Great upgrade
these cars are good on paper, but then you see the engine only revs to 5k lmao, what the fuck was alfa thinking
Trust me they’re as good as the numbers say, but I do wish they would rev a little more
Alfisimo tune extends rpm limiter and adds 40 hp/60 lb ft of torque with tune you do yourself with email but costs double around $900
If you switch to manual shift these engines are amazing
True!
What on earth are you even talking about. What ever restriction cars have its because of the Government and emissions. This is why almost every car can be tune to their true existence. Alfa is already amazing with the restrictions but tuned with their partner at squadra and its even more amazing. Smh I cant with people..
cars still slow af
Wrong
@@AllThingsCars2006 saw a 330i beat it stock please elaborate. things are in the 5 second range 0-60
@1state152 I’m confused the 330i does 0-60 in 5.6 sec and the Giulia stock does 0-60 in 5.2, not to mention faster when tuned so I’m not sure what video you watched but something isn’t adding up there.
@@AllThingsCars2006 saw it in the street. those are numbers on paper. bmw is know to underate their cars so that’s probably what it was. what i meant also was that u can go full bolt ons and a tune and not net much power either which sucks. i see it’s hard for those cars to make anything about 3-310 to the wheels torque however seems to be gained nicely
@1state152 bmws are definitely easier to tune and can definitely be made to be better performance cars, but from the factory a Giulia is way more of a dynamic vehicle than a 330i, even if bmw is underrating its power.
Hey what’s going on bro have a couple of questions do u happen to have ig ?
