    I am really liking it. Well thought out additions for making daily use better. Not just features for the sake of features.

      Agreed. It’s been stable for me and I’m running it on one of my screens in the shack now. Great to see Minnesota hams (and other developers) keep pushing this awesome project to new heights!

    Downside to WPSD is the YSF Manger is not on the Dashboard page so if you want to change "rooms" quickly you have to go to admin and then click YSF Manager. Wish it was on home Dashboard like pi-star

    I watched your video and I like it a lot. I installed it and it comes up on the screen. The only thing I have enabled is YSF, but the YSF turns to RED in seconds and of course no populations of callers. I am using a Canakit Raspberry PI 4. What radio/modem combination should I select in the configuration. I have tried all that appears to might work, but so far, no glory.

    Ok, I am a FNG newbie and I had a hotspot made with a 4.3" screen nextion, I am wondering and it may not be capable but can I display that "Live Caller" screen on my hotspot?

    • @K0LWC
      @K0LWC  Před 21 dnem

      Yes, your hotspot should display the info of anyone who is transmitting on a TG that your hotspot is listening on. It’s not the “Live Caller” screen you see here, but your hotspot should display similar information already.

    • @jahyder1
      @jahyder1 Před 21 dnem

      @@K0LWC it does but I like have all the other information as well. Do you know if there is a way to format that screen to something similar as the "Live caller" screen? Perhaps another YT video for us FNGs to watch.

    I am brand-spanking new to DMR (Jan 31 '24), and spun up a hot spot the day after receiving my radio. I hadn't seen this video, but I decided to go with WPSD simply because it just looked cleaner. It seems pretty intuitive, too. 73 de N0JYZ

    HUGE CAVEAT, if you run on an original Raspberry Pi Zero (1.1 etc), probably not a good idea to use this as it really slows down the system. w0chp says as much.

    Very cool overlay. Didn't appreciate the unnecessary vulgar language in his demo video, especially with no warning so others in the room hear it, too, but that's not your problem. Can't comment on his video so just a small warning here that there's an f-bomb in there so proceed with caution.
