Harri was a Cymro, spending the first 14 years of his life in Wales, and the next 14 in Brittany which has a similar language. But wasn't he being a bit cynical in his manifesto, promising to deliver his compatriots from the 'miserable servitude' which they had suffered under the penal code. His Celtic cousins in Cornwall must have been disappointed in him after 1497. BTW, do you think Roland de Velville was his son?

If Richard hadn't of killed the boys ,then Henry would of needed to ,The fact he married Elizabeth of York to make his claim legitimate,and then had Warwick executed even though he was disinherited,because of his father Clarence,tells quite a lot
If she agreed to marry, he already had legitimacy. He successfully raised an army, had backing in 4 countries including English nobility, and defeated Richard. In their belief, he was king by the Will of God. And if he wasn't supported, the nobles and soldiers would've slaughtered him in Bosworth field.
Surely Richard wouldn't advertise that the Princes had been moved abroad. Tudor would have had to eliminate them if he was going to legitimise Edward IV to marry Elizabeth of York.
Please get Nathen back on to speak more on Henry VII’s reign, he speaks so passionately about a much overlooked king!
