Van Morrison and his band perform a great version of "Into The Mystic" off of his 1971 Moondance Album. Big hand for the band!
Paul Moran - Musical Director
Teena Lyle - Percussionist
Dave Keary - Guitar
John Allair - Keyboard
Chantelle Duncan - Backup Vocals
David Hayes on Bass
Colin Griffin - Drums
This band is INCREDIBLE. Saw them live in 22
Dude is one of the very few in that whole generation that actually gets even better with age. Still an incredible singer/musician
Precious precious gift from heaven 💞
Yes, he's amazing. I saw him last September. My daughter and I both loved it. One of if not the Greatest ever.... It was a wonderful evening.
The 1964-2024 Generation!!
That voice. That sax. That everything.
My heart ❤️ soars hearing Van putting it out there again and again. I saw him on my birthday last month in Boston... best birthday manifestation ever. Deep bow Van the man, absolute magic🙏✨️
My dream to see him in 2024!
A very great performance, Van keeps topping his great performances. Just when I think he has hit the very top, he takes off again and tops the previous ones.. He is a big star in our vast universe. Don't know what I'd do without him in our lives. He just keeps getting better and better.
Damn he can still sing!
I was a 14yo and was looking for Jim Morrison. Mistakenly I bought Common One. Instead of start listening to The Doors I went for Van. Never had any regret. Van Morrison has opened for me m musical doors that I would never have had discovered with The Doors which had no talented musician at all, but the genius of Manzarek.
It's good to see Van has found some musicians old enough to handle him
I was at that show. He was in top form.
Everytime that Sax gets me Van !!,🙂
My favorite singer of all time!!
Fault of the human avitar is that male voices lose their deeper registers but he's still killing it. Bravo sir
Van the Man is looking, and sounding, great.
A WONDROUS PERFORMANCE OF A GREAT CLASSIC SONG 💕 BY THE ARTIST AND MUSICIAN, VAN.MORRISON

Wow wow he is the man
Van the Man.
Instrumental opener is called "Allow Me" from "Poetic Champions Compose" (1987)
Van the Man. The walk off. Chills.
The one and only great Irish tenor!
Sublime
tío grande, Van
This was pretty recent right??? I absolutely love this song. I always have this song stuck in my head. Thank you Van for the wonderful music! ❤️ Definitely one of my favorite songs of all time for me ✌️
My favorite Irishman mi Hearties.
Thank you so much for listing the band names. I have been looking all over for that info.
Van Morrison we that you.
I got all his music
Hey Van, that Saxophone 🎷, Wow ! Them was the first LP I ever bought, that's how long I am a fan. Could Van play Sax then ???
He already (and only!) played saxophone in the years before Them.. czcams.com/video/JCWF4VY8bdI/video.html
Great job bro thanks for the upload
فنان استثنائي بكل المقاييس اسطورة من اساطير الغناء .
يتجدد كل مرة الى الاحسن كانه ينبعث كل مرة بشكل جديد واكثر القا ووهجا.
انه فان موريسون او van the man
Van in great voice. Wish that on his final number, here and elsewhere, as he walks off the stage, the announcer would say his name once at most. When it's done over and over it detracts from the mood.
I can’t wait to see him in Vegas this is so wonderful!!! Also has anyone else noticed he has dropped the use of saying Sir Van Morrison?
I NEVER heard him call himself Sir Van Morrison
@@maryanngahagan1807 He doesn’t but they would introduce him that way…just something I noticed in his concerts this year.🤷♀️✌️❤️🎶🎶🎶
He's not exactly enamoured with UK government or crown these days, that might be the reason.
This was my conclusion as well. This year in Vegas x3 nights, I noticed the announcer did not say “sir.” The 3 times I saw him live in previous years, he did use the title.
This is what Van does best and it is a joy to hear - last year he went off the rails with spewing COVID-19 and lockdown nonsense and releasing bad albums about Facebook etc- rich guys should stay away from the politics and stay focused on producing the great music what they are known for - delighted to see this performance and especially the track chosen...more of this please!
I was happy to see Van speaking out. At least he's not another blind dummy.
@@thedave5748 but he sounded dumb and was wrong 😑 he lost a lot of cred-rich stars struggle in that arena-Van is all about money 💰 not principles!
wrong.
@@mikesullivan2184 don’t think so and many vans support this view! Wake up!
If he was rich he wouldn't be performing under a bridge in Napa
Oh man, that Doll of a Gypsy woman, Oh man remember her?
nice to see that david is back on bass
6:21 6:24 Is there anyone else I ask you?
Great performance! Is it just me or is he saying jelly roll instead of gypsy?! lol
Yes. A lot of his mates have lost their voices or their lives. Joe Cocker held out pretty well. Mick Jagger just shouts.
I miss Georgie Fame in the mix
A true world ambassador NB Pink Floyd & "Shine on you crazy diamonds " via multiulture & heritage & Resolution NB Ireland & USA & displaced persons & loss ?
Is Van pissed at the drummer? Hit it!
Does the drummer not know what a rim shot is?
he def is, but he's often pissed at someone in his band
@@vpconroy Big Jim Sullivan (little known session guitar player) could not work with Van Morrison -- VM's inflated ego
😊😎...Inflated Ego...my arse...Mr.Van 'Work' at 'Such an Inspired Level'....('aint no half-steppin'..Somebody once sang..)
🕵😎..u would Stand Out in a 'lame way'..🙂
Great songs.. but hasn't got the brilliant ex memberTenor sax of Richie Buckley.. loses alot bc of this.. but rock on Van ..
Ok
Just saw him last night. He and his band were top notch. However he didn't play this song and only played a couple of classics. Can't believe he played mostly blues covers so disappointing.
Who is Van calling out on keyboards at 3:20?
John Allair, he has played with Van often through the years.
Sublime
