      600m net spend brought Villa to top 4, besides Chelsea, United, and Newcastle underperforming. Couldn’t even win Conference League, which West Ham did last season.

      I'm not sure why anybody shd think Spurs in their position are playing thinking about Arsenal winning or not winning the title. Don't Spur have a dream of their own to play for? Like 4th spot? Or it's just gen Z way of thinking.
      If Spurs shd lose to City, it's nothing to do with not wanting Arsenal to win.

    While I agree with Rebecca on predicting City as the league winners, I'm confused about her reasoning. Arsenal won-albeit in not their best form, and City destroyed Fulham. But why does Arsenal's bad form against United have any influence on their title chances at this point unless Rebecca's argument is that if they play like that again, they will lose or draw to Everton?
    As I see it, Arsenal's form has almost nothing to do with their title chances anymore. Perhaps a better argument would be that City don't appear to be capable of dropping points anymore, and regardless of whether Arsenal beat Everton, City will beat both Sp**s and West Ham to finish the season.

    IMO, POTY is Cole Palmer and it's not even close. I love Rebecca, but to argue that, because Chelsea have done nothing, Palmer can't get it, doesn't make much sense. Chelsea would be in the bottom half of the table without Palmer, and Rice hasn't even been the best player on his own team this season.

    • @user-zs5ne9ph3p
      @user-zs5ne9ph3p Před 15 dny +5

      How can you give player of the year to a player who will ultimately finish nowhere in the table. Palmer is a real talent no doubt. Foden is player of the year if city win and Rice is player of year if we win. All 3 being English plus Saka, Kane, Bellingham the English talent is what's most exciting tbh!
