8:00 Darious was a valuable part of that defence this year. Feels like he's a casuality of a combination of cap hit, age and scheme fit given the change to a Nielsen defence. Even with the recruitment of Darby it feels like CB is a draft priority in what is fortunately a strong draft at the cornerback position.

Does anybody else think that just because Ridley got 1,000 yards doesn't mean we should re-sign him? 1,000 yards in a 17 game season is literally less than 60 yards per game... film don't lie, and ridley didn't show enough to deserve a big contract especially with a 3nd round pick tied to it
Now, Josh Allen, in the 5 seasons, he has been in Jacksonville only has double-digit sacks as a rookie and in the 5th year, which is because he is chasing the bag. Is he really worth the money based on his career number? Answer, "No".....

There's no reason Fortner can't strengthen up and be what we need when they are ready to move on from Mitch Morse, or Mitch Morse is ready to move on from here/football. If they are writing Fortner off completely as a potential future starter as Brian seems to be then Doug and Trent repeatedly lied in their post season press-conferences when asked about it.
