In the same way that the Chiefs just force-fed Worthy against the Lions, we need to force-feed Bateman in our first couple of games. If we’re going to be intentional with really incorporating him into the offense, we have to give him plenty of targets so that other teams can see that we’re serious. We did it last year with Flowers, now we have to do it with Bateman.
There was an interview with Monken earlier this year and he was asked about developing players. If I remember correctly he stated something along the lines of "My job is to score points, and it is the position coaches job to develop players". I am sure it is an over simplification, but I wish the interviewer had asked something like " Do you intentionally create touches/opportunities for young guys so that they can develop/gain confidence?" . I can't imagine that he doesn't do that, but your statement reminded me of that interview.
To fill the rest of the WR roster spots, i believe Walker should be put on IR with his rib issue, knowing Flowers, Bateman and Agholor are locks, Wade , Miller & Wallace should fill the other 3, because if they put Wade on PS another team will grab him right away will film out or he could leave being drafted in UFL

You hit the nail on the head. I think Travis Jones also has a huge year and gets 5-7 sacks and becomes a premier iDL. Along with Madabuke, DL will be dominant I believe. Throw in Ro and the potential of Trenton Simpson and oh boy this defense will be EXPLOSIVE

I believe that by Mark Andrew’s going down last year and being in a car accident this year is a strong sign for Lamar not to trust completely in Mark, but to really spread the ball around to other receivers, and that’s how he will make it to the Super Bowl this year and win.
