Hello; what must I do or must not do to avoid brush marks please? I am using rustoleum paint thinned a bit with white spirit

hi thanks for watching i would not suggest that you thin with white spirit as it can effect the gloss i have not used rustoleum myself but would check the data sheets for this product and see what they recommend epifanes have a product in there range called easy flow which as it says allows the the paint to flow reducing brush marks remember the more you thin paint the more coats that will be required

Can I be advised for brushes and rollers brands, please?

Hi yes the brushes I use are Purdy monarch xl and as for rollers any high density foam will be fine just not the very spongey types

Hello John. Thanks for your recent reply, on using red gloss on top of pre kote blue/grey. I have had a change of mind on red now. I have been looking at using Top Lac Platinum on the cabin sides with a 4 inch outer edge trim of oxford blue. my problem is I carn't seem to get hold of any, only in small tins, some outlets have only a couple of tins. I am looking at least 6 lts, I don't know if it is being discontinued as on some of the new colour samples I have seen on my computer, this colour isnt on. If so do Epifanes do a similar colour. I am very sorry to trouble you John. Iam on the Lancaster Canal and there's no outlets in this area for marine paint. thanks. Bill Watson.
