    Remember the silk roads! there was a lot of trade with Asia back then ... just like today!
    Both Greek and Turkish music has Arabic, Persian and even Indian influences.
    It is now international:)))) ENJOY!

    Thats like saying that Indians do not have a culture anymore and that they are English because they where British empire... It ia a very nationalistic statement but rather far from the truth! As for the half of us are Turkish; there was no mixing of the two nations - the bloodlines where kept pure in the 90% of the population! Greeks also kept their religion and their customs throughout the Ottoman Rule-it is even taught in the Turkish schools as one of the big 'mistakes' of the Ottoman empire!

    All of u know that greeks lived more than 500 years under Turks and It is very normal that greeks behave like Turks.
    Greek culture was one fo the most important cultures but there is not any Greek culture anymore,
    The last real Greek culture was in 14th centuries. Sorry guys but u also know that half of u is turkish , u should be proud of that::)))Enjoy our culture it is really nice:))

    I wonder the lyrics of the song. The part that is about the genoside, can you please inform me about that part? What are the lyrics? If you cant prove that...i will say that your claim about this song is as fake as the racist greeks claim of Turkish genocide. Shame on you that you use this song to attack turks.

      hideare this song tells the story of tsambasim.
      I'll translate.
      tsambasim is burning
      oh god.. they (Muslim Turks) burned everything. not even a blade of grass was spared. everything is burnt.
      man, women, children, birds all burned.
      they then moved towards the great pines... everything is gone. oh god.
      ====
      tsambasim was a real town known for attracting tourists. It was like the American Disneyland. imagine if someone torched Disneyland just because..
