Rōnin talks over “How -Tu” properly grip a pistol

- Bad grip on a pistol is one of the leading causes of poor marksmanship. Grip is more then just holding or gripping the weapon. Proper grip uses the proper structure of your hands with your wrist line. Understand how to reduce recoil flip by applying pressure at points on the gun. Understand with proper grip it allows for a clean press on the trigger without moving the weapon offline.

Anyone else got recommended to him ever since he was in modern warfare?
Saaaame
StarRez he looks like a fucking worm in the game 🤣
Yup 😂
Yes he is a operator character I thought the character was made up when I was watching a video of CZcamsr prestige is key channel not knowing his who's part of season 3 modern warfare I was flipping out myself when I heard about it
Yessir
The content is GOLD! (but the music is a bit distracting)
Paul Kabana the music was getting my heart racing I felt like I was watching a cinema film. Felt good actually
Agreed
Focus Paul focus
Cmon, felt like you were the Sgt. Major jumping outta spaceship!
I was gonna say the same.
I’m feeling the necesity to buy his operator un MW after seeing many videos of him.
Kevin Navarro that’s how they get cha!
Marketing at its finest 👌🏻😂
I don’t think they have his operator been searching multiple time for it unless I plain out missed it
iModMyWorld it’s still there bud. At the top on the left as you go into the multiplayer store 👍🏼
I've known about him for a while so I bought it as soon as it released. It brings his personal weapons he uses in real life!
Ronin if we could just keep the background music a tad down, it’s crazy loud
awesome video I just wish the background music was turned down a bit so I can hear every word.
Sorry! I will make changes for future clips. Noted. Thank you for the feedback.
@@ronintacticsinc you're welcome keep up the awesome videos and being open to comments.
@@ronintacticsinc It's only because we want to hear every nugget of wisdom that comes from your mouth.
@@jaredruss3786 the man wasn't even responding to you weeb
When someone like this speaks you shut up and listen. Passing wisdom onto you. Be silent and absorb as much as you can. Be thankful that you have a warrior willing to pass his knowledge to you.
I couldn't agree with you more. And a Thumbs up from me is your reward.
Gotta know that the one speaking KnowS WTF He is Talking About....... its 98% of the time, PriorService & Their NoT DickS....or SpotLighters....When passing the Info Forward and they use "me" stories.....Its NoT all About Them.... Or Ever In a Degrading Manner.... They Normally Know WTH Their Saying/Doing & Enjoy Sharing To Literally Improve YOU...Not " Looky what I Know guy",. This Gent Knows
And like he pointed out in another video, he's sharing because he's tired of losing people.
somebody should tell that to the overly distracting, "epic" theme music guy
@@jblaw81 exaaaactly
I’ve taken several firearms classes and I have never had an instructor go into this kind of detail. Amazing instruction!
Ronin: How Tu Pistol Grip
MODERN WARFARE:
"GRANULATED PISTOL GRIP ATTACHMENT "😂😂
I prefer Stipple Grip Tape lol
iModMyWorld Right. Stripple is the most versatile
Wait until yall use no stock and it have better recoil then having one
yeeter Ya no stock M4a1 is fire
What about a stippled, rubber, grip tape combo? Thatd be real life op..
Can’t wait to see him release the fundamentals on where to drop in warzone
Wait this dude just killed me in mw..
First Recon 432 what op is it?
@@HoracioCuevas Ronin lol his pack was in the store a couple of days ago. still might be if you haven't gotten it yet
Lmaoooo...
Should've had better grip
Leon that made me laugh
This is truly one of the best explanations I've heard, nice work.
Couldn’t hear it. Music was too loud.
I've owned my first handgun for 3 years now and have struggled to be truly proficient with it and I always knew I was trying to replicate this style of grip. This video really gave me the understanding of the mechanics of how to use this grip.
Finally an instructor who gets straight to the point with great knowledge AND does not sound pretentious.
Best pistol grip session I've ever seen. Second place isn't close. Thank you very much for taking the time to film and share this.
The music is drowning out your words of wisdom
dindoonuttin wazzenme -I’ve addressed this in my later videos. Thank you.
@@ronintacticsinc the music is fine
@@edvas625 It's not. It's too loud.
It may seem silly to you but honestly this is CZcams. The music and editing is why he has 300K subs and not 4.5k like others who are also highly knowledgeable.
If you're complaining about the music, you're not listening with enough focus.
This guy is teaching soldiers more than proper handling of arms. He is saving lives. Thank you Ronin
Bravo-Zulu! Best Handgun Explanation I have ever SEEN! Thank YOU for putting the Video UP!
I'm sure you have heard this many times already, but you are an incredible instructor, not everyone regardless of how good they maybe are able to actually connect and teach as well as you do. Glad I found your channel. Thanks for posting these sessions.
excellent info, when you find the grip he is showing, you know it because you can feel the control, awesome!
Absolutely the best explanation of proper grip I’ve ever heard, details are very important, thank you so very much
awesome grip explanation...most detailed ive ever heard..many thanks for the lesson sir!
Great mental imagery in your description... Love it!
You and Mickey Schuch are such great mentors. Can't get enough of you two
They way he explains it makes sense...and it’s pointed out a weakness with my grip. Thx for the upload!
Ronin: Okay I want a background music but it doesn't loud
Editor: *DID YOU SAY LOUD?!*
😂
My boi set 8 English
TURN THAT NOISE DOWN DAMNIT
I love that you explain the methodology behind the very deliberate actions that you take. Thanks Sir, this is absolutely invaluable info.
Good video. He hits the nail on the head. Good explanation of the type of grip needed to shoot a pistol accurately and effectively. So many pistol shooters have zero grasp of those fundamentals and shoot with a low, weak grip. I saw it so much with fellow LEO's at the range and had to learn myself how to grip a pistol properly as I was not initially taught it. It makes all the difference. If you got weak hands and a weak wrist you won't control the pistol well.
Didn’t realize this was a dude other than his cod character, he’s actually bad ass
Ronin!! I just discovered your channel and it's incredibly addicting. You talk with experience instead of ego and you're super humble about it.
I've seen a lot of videos on pistol grip but i think this video is perfectly explained. Love your channel.
I could listen to you talk all day. And i will try this at the next range session. Thank you for the content.
Thanks for uploading this Tu! The thing I took away from this the most is "when the slide locks back and you still got rounds in the gun..." Im hitting the slide lock lever with my high grip. I always wondered why that was happening, now I know! So thanks again for that but of info!
I love the background music... I could hear everything you said and took it all in. Thanks.
Straight to point no bullshit. Great video. I've been shooting for over 20 years years but always look to see how techniques change.
This was extremely helpful. Everyone just explains it as two thumb forward grip. But you really explained well on where to apply the pressure and which fingers will use more muscle etc. great video
Thank you for posting your knowledge, I hope to see more contents from you.
Such a great gifted dude wish to see more of Tu Lam from Ronin Tactics, I appreciate the knowledge an tactics u teach to everybody, ur such a well rounded gifted human individual an one of a kind. Love to see more videos.......
Thank you these videos are great already adding some skills into my practice drills.
This is the best Pistol Holding instructions video I could found on CZcams. Thanks for sharing, sincerely.
Amazing content. Ive learn more in 3 days watching this than everything I ever learned over ether yrs picked up here n there stuff. But this is best cuz he tells us the why which so many forget to do and when ppl don't get the why they're less likely to do it or get it right
Just found this channel. Great teaching ability and thank you Ronin for sharpening my skills.
Such detail.. I've learned so much in this video when I thought you just grab it and shoot but there's a whole lot I need to learn obviously..
I'm glad I found this channel.
This is by far the best video I’ve seen on the grip. Many I have found recommend “100%/100%” where both hands grip the handgun very tightly; that never seemed to work for me. Squeezing with the left and relaxing the right tends to produce the best results. Great video as always.
This video is gold. I've been shooting a handgun for years and thought I was pretty good but just two minutes of a youtube video about changes in grip and OMG. Wisdom right here.
Thank you for this. I am really thankful for your hard work.
Many thanks sir and cheers for the great advice and help! Semper Fi
Thanks heaps mate for a awesome video video. Keep up the good work
Great stuff - thank you for sharing your hard-earned wisdom Tu
This is why revisiting fundamentals is so important :) Love your videos Ronin :) Dry fire and grip control always :)
This advice helped me out alot thank you!
It would be amazing to spend a day at the range with this guy. I've been instructed by a few different people and often question if it's the correct way of doing things.
This was excellent tutoring. Leaning in to hear you was actually a benefit!
I did some range work with an N-frame .357 Magnum recently and finished with a very sore strong-side thumb, at the lower joint. Looking at your pistol gripping techniques will change my revolver habits! I now suspect that wrapping the weak thumb over the strong thumb (behind the gun) focused recoil energy into this now-painful joint.
the exact video I needed, thank you!
Great class man, helped my handgun accuracy immensely.
this guy is literally one of the most impressive Soldiers, just a crazy career.
This was really helpful much appreciated.
I love watching these vids and I learned so much. As a everyday citizen that just loves to train with no formal training. I have to say I love my cannik t120. Steel frame with the slide running into the frame gives me more control to grip high with out getting slide bite
Great explanation and tutorial love it ow much detail is involved
Great video as always. I was psyched to see Tu is the new operator for season 3 of modern warfare.
This channel is so underrated it's not even funny.
Love how right when i start watching him they made him a MW Operator 😂👏🏻
SpaceWaffle badass
Great video . Simple to the point
This just changed my shooting game . Thanks so much.
Good stuff. Can you tone down the motivational music a smidge?
Fantastic video.
Great video, Excellent! Thank you for sharing your knowledge
This will help me when I'm trying to get a pistol kill when I'm parachuting into boneyard for sure.
Great demonstration. Thank you!
Wow great job explaining the proper gripping. This is what I was looking for. I have been searching for a video like this (obviously because I am trying to learn this from home and no one can show it to me), but all of the videos I came across were not easily understandable with vague wordings like grip the pistol using 30% of strength on your right and 70% on your left hand. This video is different, you did an amazing job explaining it and I finally understood the proper hold, what the proper gripping should feel like etc. thanks 🙏 - another tattooed Asian
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid
Tu do more of these man.
Tu... keep you the great vids! Still picking up tips from you... especially with the knife concepts.
Thank you for the free valuable lessons
I was shooting horribly, went to the range right after watching this and was infinitely better, he knows what he's talking about.
Look forward to you making more videos my Brother 3 months is to long 🤟
This what a Master Class looks like in our profession. very well done!
I'm from Canada, I've never owned or touched a weapon of my life but I sure know how to grip a pistol now. Thank you CZcams for the recommendation
Me too buddy
Keep this stuff coming team Ronin.
Excellent instruction!
This is a solid individual right here.
Good stuff!!
you keep teaching i keep learning
Great video
Thanks Brother Tu
Best example I've ever seen . Excellent
Excellent content, all ergonomics & how not only your hands affect your fire control but your secondary adaptive control which is also keeping your head in line with the target. Put your hands in an upward grip without a firearm & point straight. Then turn your head left & right & you will notice not only your arms moving but everything from your waist up.
Every act and motion with intent! Everything has a reason and a thought process behind it!
This man is a box 📦 of knowledge. Worth to watch his videos.
Great advice and video's !
My old man has the best grip and strongest wrist on any handgun or revolver I’ve seen him shoot. I’ve seen him shoot .45 ACP handguns and the barrel does not move. Always found it crazy but at the same time not too surprised since he’d been firing handguns for over 30yrs. Great video.
Golden knowledge like all your videos and methods you do it in. Can't thank you enough. Can you make a video on proper holster draw technique, (conceal preferable; both would be appreciated).
Thank you for the life saving material.
All the best with peace
Excellent video
Thank Tu, can’t wait to try this.
Great video. Thank you!!
so valuable, that's elite level instruction for the price of the internet, awesome
Awesome video
I'm in special force conter terrorism team this man is a great trainer the way he explaine thing is so professional all my respect to him
Great valuable content video... and music 👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Nice Rolex GMT Master II; and amazing instruction as always.
Hey Robin, another amazing video, love the content! Please could you do a video on correct pistol handling in a late comeback situation from the gulag?
Oh,i really like it sir...always watching you
I’d like to take classes with you once corona lets us off punishment, specifically hand to hand then moving to gun handling. I pray you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe during this pandemic my man 💪🏾
